all three I suppose, I've always given to the British Legion right from when I was at school, my Grandma's favourite was the Salvation Army and I've always donated to those since she passed away.

I think many just give to feel good themselves. Whether the charity they give to does more harm than good is not very important, and not something they investigate or think about.
