was wondering if solar flares were responsible? my sister's tv went, and our set went at just the same time about three weeks ago? both modern flat screens. seems a coincidence that it happened at same time?

Your TV's have been hacked, they were watching you watching TV then decided to blow it up when they got bored.
It's happened to me a lot this year. Apparently they're not designed to cope with the impact of beer bottles thrown at them after Wallaby losses. Cxnt at Retravision hung up on me when I complained.

Zorro.......What make is yours and your sisters tv? if they're the same then might answer your question IF others have reported the same with the same brand.
