no surprise at all... infact im surprised they were not seriously injured .... this is normal for the area..... i blame millwall, their ground is only half a mile away ... did they call trident ?

The public lost all respect for the police many years ago, they are no more than traffic wardens. Not been fit for purpose since the 60's. All very sad to see but when you become a political puppet force what else can you expect.

The other problem with the police is that since the minimum height regulations were abolished, they look less intimidating, which may also be why they've become trigger-happy with tasers and truncheons.

Growing up Plod may not have been liked but were respected. You respect the uniform if not the person wearing it. For schoolkids, including girls to act in this way is incredible. I reckon most have no fathers and come from an ethnic community that carries a massive chip on their shoulders. Govts did away with corporal punishment in schools and at home, they promoted any and every type of family, abandoned any tradition and this is the result. Most of my contact with the Old Bill has been negative over the years but I would NEVER lay a finger on them, EVER. |

Oh it's not the kid's fault. You can't blame the kids.
They're simply perpetrating the violence inherent in the system. They need compensating for their traumatic experiences caused by police interference, before they go off the rails altogether. Probably a couple of weeks holiday in Spain should do the trick. Paid for by the council. |

Its not Britain Alun its parts of it ,I was on a bus in Co Durham a young lad was being a little loud talking to his Friends and Swore ,The bus driver pulled the bus over and informed him there were women and children on the bus ,and if he felt the need to swear he would need to get off ,NOW ! The young lad said sorry and that was that .. Lesson learned ..
