Loads of cases coming to light various coaches at different clubs absolutely rife,this countrys full of em,see that david Hamilton topped himself as well another one recently accused of raping 13 yr olds.

It won't end at football, paedos put themselves among targets where possible. Scouts, choirs, sports, they'd be everywhere. We had one teaching at our school in the 70s. One of my elder brother's mates used to offer me money to play with his c0ck when I was small, he ended up Headmaster of a Catholic school.

A more interesting question is why football is back in the news, given the bloke was caught and did his time and the main accusers were involved in the original convictions?

They mainly are. Apparently it is a big problem trying to recruit male primary school teachers because of the stigma, and this means an awful lot of kids grow up with no male role models or authority figures, as one-parent families are mainly headed by mum. |

Arrested and found guilty / jailed on three separate occasions . Now out on licence. So seemingly about to be charged once more and locked away for a considerable time. Who knows how many lives he's ruined. |

first arrested in 1992 and has multiple convictions for sexually abusing boys he coached. Now 62, he is out of prison on licence. Andy Woodward and Steven Walters, two former Crewe players, waived their right to anonymity to tell the Guardian they had been targeted by Bennell, who has been described by the American authorities as having “almost an insatiable appetite” for young boys.
On Thursday Gradi, Crewe’s director of football and former manager, expressed sympathy for Bennell’s victims. Gradi, who was manager of Crewe from 1983 until 2007, also said no one at the club was aware of Bennell’s crimes until Bennell was arrested in the US in 1994. he was jailed for 4 years in 1994 in the us ,the judge describing him as above ,but he had already been arrested in 1992 according to some reports but seems unclear where this was ? that was year he was sacked from crewe. he was also jailed last may for 2 years . 4+6+2= the 15 they say but where was the 1992 arrest and what was the outcome ? this is the question imo ,or i could be wrong and misunderstood it ,would make sense what the US judge said . He was jailed for a third time in 2015 after admitting abusing a boy at a 1980 football camp in Macclesfield. |

Yes, he is a bad man but we knew all that, which is why he'd been sent to prison.

An investigation into. 16-18 old's in schools being molested by their peers is required.
But this is different from adults in positions of power raping children in their care. |

Imagine if the DofE awards was riddled too (Im not suggesting it is, but it was rather similar to scouts etc) just think how the reaction will be to that. |
