is this after the emergency budget, falling house prices, world war 3, etc etc?
I'm not sure I can take forecasts, polls, expert views etc very seriously these days.

Kevin Maguire @Kevin_Maguire Perhaps Leaver liars still denying promising £350m a week for the NHS could explain this poster now the cost of Brexit's put at £60bn-ish

xmoneyx, you need to stop flogging that dead donkey tbh, no one who made that claim was in any position to implement it, as everybody knew at the time.

The country was split by the liberal agenda, bm. Only history will show who was right, but many felt simply forced to vote leave because of what has been imposed upon them. If we had remained, the country would still be split in two, as hands have been shown and lines drawn. The liberals have created real strife.

I haven't seen the news for a week or two x, I used my only chance to influence things and now I'm dropping out again, unless May needs a nudge in the future.

Haven't seen a full news programme since Trump got in, xm. The future is imponderable and uncertain. I'm not interested in listening to people guessing what might happen all day, it's repetitive, boring and simply conjecture.

Anna Soubry MP @Anna_Soubry ....because of Brexit. I don't know anyone who voted to be poorer. Why we are pursing something that will make us all worse off?

The Resolution Foundation thinktank has published its full verdict on the autumn statement. As my colleagues Heather Stewart and Jessica Elgot report, it is saying that the squeeze on living standards over the next five years could be even worse than it was during the financial crash.

Is that the squeeze which we were told would hit us for two, then three years? Eight years later not much has improved for the low paid, there are just a few million more of em, making life harder if anything. German and Italian banks in trouble and the economy in Europe is not looking good. I think a global currency reset might not be far away.

If you dont mend the roof when the sun shines you can expect to suffer when it rains.
Brexit is a great scapegoat for our woes.
Is Hammond a new Gordon Brown?

article 50 is a red herring ,when they dont receive a Christmas card and we stop attending their meetings and answering their phone calls they will get the hint
Besides it must be written in stone at chateau EU that they must abide by the democratic wishes of a member states people .
A50 is just another bit of worthless eu legislation that means SFA in the grand scheme of things

OBR forecasts are just that, they are not reality, good guesses at the best. we all know the story of economists, give 3 of them a issue to solve and get 4 solutions, they haven't got much right recently.

What i find is all these predictions of economical doom, are rather strange, the think tanks have had us fooked since 2007, we should be in much more debt as a country by now, i have lost a fortune following the media predictions of doom and the world ending
Even lost more on the us elections, i was queued up to collect when the news broke.

A proposed pro-Brexit march of 100,000 people on the Supreme Court which was reportedly to be led by Nigel Farage will not happen.
The demonstration in central-London that was earmarked for early December had been designed to put pressure on judges as they ruled on whether MPs should be given a vote on the triggering of Article 50 or not.
However The Huffington Post understands that not only will the protest not take place - it was never really going to happen.

Reckon this bull$hit legal stuff is nothing, it would cost more in legal fees than the worth of the process, then again that makes the rich richer, that is what the eu is all about.
I would love us to leave tomorrow.Reckon this bull$hit legal stuff is nothing, it would cost more in legal fees than the worth of the process, then again that makes the rich richer, that is what the eu is all about.
All the bull$hit news would end, the money skimmers would be fooked all in one go.
All the eu sponsored think tanks would be fooked in one swipe.
Im fed up reading about it all.

some tory MEP stated the other day that at least 66% of the EU bigwigs and MEP's, despite what they are saying in public, believe in private they can stop Brexit happening. I would like to know who is funding the current court case because it isn't Gina Miller.
