I just wondered how Indians drink so much tea as it's revolting without milk but although cows are holy they are fine with dairy products. So that only explains the tea drinking, also ghee.
And also it means it won't curb my marital life on "bovine love island" if I become Hindu within my cow marriage .

Since the end of ww2 every British tank has had a kettle in it for making tea without having to get and get shot at making a cuppa. It's rumoured to also heat up food pouches, but Tea is basically the essential component in UK armed forces.

Coffee's like my crack cocaine, often find myself looking forward to my next fix. The feeling of elation i often get is quite worrying. Still 2.5-1 in favour of tea on a daily rate.

I love tea but i haven't had a cup for about 6 months.I chose to stop drinking tea because i was drinking far too much of it.I was drinking about 10 cup a day.I've recently started drinking coffee.Depending on my mood, circumstances, etc,i'll normally drink about 3 cups a day.

There's caffeine in tea, so if you drink a lot of it you're probably getting more caffeine than a moderate drinker of coffee.
Anyone who considers their digestion or suffers from acid problems should cut out tea and coffee altogether. They're both acid forming.
Plus the fact that both are usually taken with milk and sugar.

Caffeine is water soluble, if it goes through an espresso machine it is not in contact with water for very long and you get less caffeine than in filter or jug methods.

I'm very much a creature of habit and have 2 cups of strong tea and 4 cups of very strong coffee every day. Milk in both but don't touch sugar.
I lived in Cyprus for a while and the coffee they serve up is similar to the black stuff they repair motorways with. I hated it at first but soon became addicted.
Crap weak coffee is worse than drinking cat wee.

Can just drop some in your stew or mince instead of drinking brown fluid
Or fire some in your cereal ( with lots of milk )
No wonder so many people are depressed and on sleeping tablets in the UKTaking Caffeine all day and wondering why they can't sleepBe it Energy Drinks / Tea / Coffee you need to come down if you take too muchHere's a thread about people using caffeine
Please dont do something stupid like take a whole tablespoon of caffeine powder. Its easy to forget that caffeine can kill you. Anything over 500mg will start to make you will start to lose your focus and begin to feel feverish so there really is no point in taking over the top doses of caffeine. If I were you I would make a bunch of 100mg gel capsules to pop every couple of hours to keep focused, and maybe even a couple 50mg so you can have more exact dosages.
Why buy coffee at starbucks when you can use this trick ?

Why you think depression and anxiety has been a bigger issue in USA than the UK
But the UK is fast catching as more coffee shops open the more meds the docs give out
Need coffee to get going in the morning and pills to sleep it off

Starbucks entered the U.K. market in 1998 with the $83 million[30] USD acquisition of the then 56-outlet, UK-based Seattle Coffee Company, re-branding all the stores as Starbucks. In September 2002, Starbucks opened its first store in Latin America, at Mexico City. Currently there are over 500 locations in Mexico and there are plans for the opening of up to 850 by 2018.[31]

Red Bull gives you... a whole host of health issues: Minute-by-minute guide reveals what the energy drink REALLY does to your body An infographic shows what Red Bull does to your body after you drink it Within minutes, your blood pressure and sugar levels rocket It takes 12 hours for the caffeine to level you, more for women on the Pill And a day later you begin to feel withdrawal symptoms, craving another

Just as with the Class A drug, the cocktail can have a devastating affect on the chemical balance of the brain that lasts long into adulthood. This is a taste of the effect it has on the body in the first 12 days of finishing a can: FIRST 10 MINUTES AFTER FINISHING A CAN The caffeine begins to permeate your bloodstream. In turn, your heart rate and blood pressure start to pick up pace. 15-45 MINUTES LATER If you drink it fast, you'll start feeling more alert and concentrated around 15 minutes later. Slow drinkers may not feel the effects for about 40 minutes. 30-50 MINUTES LATER Caffeine absorption is complete. Your pupils dilate, your blood pressure rises, as a response your livers dumps more sugar into your bloodstream. The adenosine receptors in your brain are now blocked preventing drowsiness. Your blood sugar spikes, causing an insulin burst. Your liver responds to this by turning any sugar it can get its hands on into fat - of which there is plenty. 1 HOUR LATER Your body starts to experience a sugar crash, as well as the effects of the caffeine dying down, you'll start to feel tired and energy levels will start to feel low. You've also now urinated out all the water that was in the Red Bull. First, however, that water infused with valuable nutrients that your body could have used hydrate your system or strengthen your bone, which were also washed out. 5-6 HOURS LATER It takes this long for the amount of caffeine to half in your body. For women who take the Pill, it will take 10 hours. 12 HOURS LATER The time that it takes most people to fully remove caffeine from their bloodstream. The speed at which this happens does depend on many factors from age to activity. 12-24 HOURS LATER Withdrawal symptoms kick in. About a day after you had your caffeine hit, you're in the mood for another. If you have become used to a daily - or more regular - fix, you will start to feel lethargic, distressed, experience headaches and constipation. 7-12 DAYS LATER Studies have shown this to be the time frame for your body to become tolerant to your regular caffeine dosage. That means you'll get used to it and won't feel the effects as much. THE PROS AND CONS OF DRINKING ENERGY DRINKS PRO: Energy drinks like Red Bull are well within the national guidelines of 400 milligrams of caffeine per day. They contain 80 milligrams per 250ml can. PRO: Coffee can be much higher in caffeine. For example, a venti americano at Starbucks contains 300mg of caffeine. CON: It is high in sugar - and therefore calories. And caffeine, a stimultant drug, can cause anxiety, dehydration, nausea, and a dangerously high heart rate. CON: The number of people hospitalized due to energy drinks doubled between 2007 and 2014 in the US, according to SAMHSA.

Never ever had Red Bull myself, as someone who is very conscious of sugar intake.
Was looking up how much sugar was in redbull and found this
If you glance at the nutrition label on the back of popular energy drink Red Bull, the amount of sugar within is clearly stated: 27 grams per 8.4 fluid ounces. But Reddit user Gizmosarrow — who preferred the larger 12-ounce can — had trouble visualizing the amount.
“I wanted to see how much 39g of sugar actually was,” the Redditor wrote on the site Monday, admitting in the comments to a “two 12-oz. cans a day” habit. Turns out that the amount of sugar in one can alone translates to a rather startling mound of the sugary stuff.
Here’s what 39 grams of sugar looks like:
39 grams of sugar is about 9 and a half tea spoons of sugar.
