Those are three of the "experiences" donors can possibly win after giving money to (RED), which raises funds to fight AIDS. The campaign dubbed "(RED) SHOPATHAN," in its second year, launches Tuesday, one week before World AIDS Day, which is Dec. 1.
"It is a battle now for funding. It's just a street battle, pitch battle, and we have to keep this stuff in the news or literally those people don't get the drugs. It's that simple," Bono said in an interview with The Associated Press last week. "We have to just remind people that America has led the war on this tiny little virus and is winning the war, but it is unthinkable, but it is possible, that if we stall on funding then we start to undo all this good work."

The One campaign is not abut handing money to victims on the ground, its an advocacy and campaigning organisation...hence the % figure seized gleefully upon by the shock jock above.
Plus it itself is largely funded, not from the public, but the Gates foundation. |

Bono, is the antithesis of whats good with having money, he does not pay a single penny in tax to the Irish Government, when the Country was going down the tubes he ran off with his wealth to some foreign land , yet year after year he leads the way with the begging bowl,let them fund it themselves I say.

He pays plenty of tax in Ireland as an individual as he lives part of the year there. His company, of which he owns only 20%, operates outside Ireland, derives the vast % of it's income outside Ireland and chooses tax efficiency. And as for the begging bowl,he has long since moved onto to more efficient forms of effecting change. |

Its all about his feelings,he demands the Irish government lash out money in aid so he can hold his high. He preaches all over the world but evades tax. He is bosum buddies of two other Irish hypocrites,Bob Geldof and Peter Sutherland. Three obsequious EU supporters,three no border merchants.
