She was his local MP and he would have killed however that was, just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Well sad.

Fair comment about the lady but when you have a mental inadequate stalking you, there is little chance, what a sad waste.

Witnessed and no reasonable doubt about a murder,he should receive capital punishment but that option is not available to the courts. Two kids have their lives ruined.

This is how you shut down free speech by threatening or in this case with violence and killing
certainly those who believe in violence to achieve their aims got their way as we see everywhere in europe and in the USA

but won't they be out in force to defend him and say he was insane or mentally challenged or whatever excuse they use these days

after all he doesn't quite sound like he is on the same planet

ps  should have shot the fkr on site. with his own gun - would be the best result

Apparently, the gun was a 1 off German made and never re produced for sale.

Going off hindsight, was she shot or stabbed to death? And apparently the accused was spotted fleeing from the scene whilst removing his clothing. His jacket or coat was found 12 days later ims.....12 days?   Will be interesting to know who the prosecutor and  judge is.

weird how he's pleading not guilty. Wonder if he's planning to take the stand.

I'm assuming he is very mentally unwell to have done this ?

Not sure how this works but would it not have been declared at the start that he was pleading not guilty due to diminished responsibility?

Maybe he's going to use the stand to air his views as it'll be his only chance of being heard in public (until the Mail give him his own column of course).

British justice at its finest.

He may well get his moment in the sunshine on the witness stand. If, as seems likely, he is found guilty of murder it's a big price to pay (lifetime incarceration one imagines) in order to air his poisonous views, which can be swiftly forgotten by everyone bar the equally stupid, 10 seconds after they leave his mouth.

Of course, it will never bring back what by all accounts sounds a fine and admirable person, but you'd hope her family can get some kind of peace if the verdict goes as seems likely

By remaining silent, an automatic plea of not guilty is registered?

i suppose he has had his day in court and in doing so...

everybody is given the chance to judge him for the scum that
he is and sees what a wonderful person has been killed.

I have no problem with cases where there may be doubt ,but how you could defend this individual ,with the overwhelming evidence ,is beyond me.
