Watching this at the moment. It's a bit grim.

I'm hoping nothing happens to the lovely little dog Sad

The dog has just been kicked to death. What a horrible programme. I might have known that would happen.

They didn't even take it to the vet to see if it could be saved.

A agree Makybe Diva...I shan't watch that
Report ebulGery December 26, 2016 9:44 PM GMT
Even the Krays did not kick dogs to death..people perhaps but not dogs
Report Makybe_Diva December 26, 2016 9:45 PM GMT
No don't, ebulgery. It's horrible. I might stick it out to the end.

It's not very nice Boxing Day viewing. But then I found We're Going on a Bear Hunt upsetting Sad

It's a shame Facts didn't put up a warning for us.

I'm giving up with it. I couldn't care less what happens to the charcters.

I'm going to watch 'Darcey Bussell: My Life on the BBC' to cheer myself up a bit before going to bed.

I only have 3% battery power left....need to charge it up fir a bit. Be back later.

I thought it was absolute rubbish, I'd rather be attacked by a dog than watch it again.

This programme was, without a shred of doubt, the biggest pile of fecking rubbish ever to be offered up as Christmas viewing. What are the BBC turning themselves into for gawd's sake? It was just awful on every level, totally unsuitable, very depressing. Jeez, the national television channel has become an embarrassing disgrace.
I note that the thread starter thought it was "very good." I would suggest other members of Chit Chat give this bloke's views a wide berth from now on, his outlook on things is clearly questionable.

He's an idiot, who would deny that ?

This dreadful programme almost caused an argument at my house. My dozy missus and her equally dozy mother insisted we watch it. After ten minutes I lobbied for turning the depressing drivel off, but got shouted down. After another fifteen minutes of torture I'd had enough and put on the recording of Maigret and the women wisely didn't complain.
Watching Rowan Atkinson investigating three families who were brutally butchered by psychopaths was like light entertainment by comparison.

What does NW stand for? Confused
Report Makybe_Diva December 27, 2016 11:30 AM GMT
It was shown in the middle of November. It wasn't meant for Christmas viewing. I recorded it and hadn't got round to watching it until last night.

For some resson I thought it was about two women who had been through WW2 together and met up again in later life. It wasn't what I was expecting at all  Confused

Thanks for that MD. The only thing I could see in Radio Times for yesterday was Norman Wisdom on BBC4. Laugh

I wish I'd watched that instead Sad

If you don't know what a programme is about, it's often a sensible idea to Google it. !!

This review is spot on.

I know, Facts. I always have a Radio Times. I don't know how I made that mistake Plain
