with the documentaries and the films about the second world war, is there now more hours on the war than actually passed during the war? Six Years x 365days x24 hours = 52,560 hours roughly.

about 450,000 films have been made, what percent are war films? Google is saying about twelve percent are war films.  so that's 54000 - so straight away it looks more without adding the dramas made for tv like the Sullivans and world at war.

So watching all the war films and tv about war is actually longer than the war. I FKIN knew it.

War films, not ww2 films. Platoon and all quiet on the western front were not set in Dunkirk.
