I was going to put this on racing but thought it would be safer on here!

I have only just started using this facility as opposed to laying, but twice in the last couple of days I've had quiet big priced horses go odds on in running and gone to use the cash out facility and it has disappeared.
My question is do they have a cut off point in the race when it is no longer available? I have successfully used it on a few occasions and it's worked fine.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Betfair is to slow ....don't forget any bet you put out there ...you're in a queue.
The Betfair price re-fresh rate is very slow ...so the bet you're trying to place on "Cash Out" may no longer be availale"
Use some fast "Professional software" like BetTrader ...it's computer hits the Betfair Computer around 25 (?) times a second
and five (200 milliseconds) relating to the price available.
BetTrader has some very useful other trading facilities like, Loss limitation, Tick Offset, Hedge, Fill or Kill etc ...have a look at their website ...it's not that expensive to buy - I'd highly recomend it.
Cheers

Thanks Ron,everything you've said makes sense, when I checked the winning distances on one of the races it was something like a s.h and two necks so going by what you said the computer probably couldn't handle it.
