What are the figures?
My beans took ages to start running up the sticks this year. I can't wait for the UK to start enjoying higher Summer temperatures. I yearn for the red-hot summers we used to enjoy in the old days, before all this talk about global warming started. |

Figures are the UK and global record gets beat every year for nearly 20 years running now. It's real for sure, and scary.

If it isn't real and we do something to get cleaner energy and transport. Tough luck, we spent some money, create less wasteful, cleaner cars, industries and appliances and have inner cities with much better air quality.
However, if it is infact happening and we caused it, then we all, and especially the ones denying global warming because they don't feel it on their cozy, only slightly affected, islands (yet) will be in for some fun when the climate refugee wave from the really affected areas starts going. Some are saying the mass displacement of people within Syria because of continued extreme droughts (and the mismanagement of them by the Assad regime) did its part in helping social unrest become big enough to initiate the civil war that's been going on for half a decade now with no end in sight. If there's even the slightest doubt that human influence accelerates or even causes global warming, then it shouldn't even be a question on whether we try to do something about it. Just weigh up what there is to lose if we're wrong and hence didn't do anything. I never get the refusal to do something about it. Least of all from xenophobic people (climage change denial and xenophobia seem to often go hand in hand). Xenophobic people should panic at the prospect of even the slightest possibility that humans create climate refugees that'll come knocking on their doors in millions and do everything to prevent it (ideally by doing something against the causes and not by building walls). |

The only reason these climate clowns have been able to get away with this bs is that the MSM has conspired and colluded to promote it and drown out any dissenting voices. The MSM's US election coverage is proof they do this to promote the globalist agenda. Just as they all got behind the globalist HIllary, bashed the anti-globalist Trump and refused to report on what was being reported by Wikileaks and Project Veritas the MSM have all got behind the "scientists" promoting the globalist Anthropogenic Climate Change agenda, bash any science or scientists that seriously challenge it and refuse to report on any evidence to the contrary. It's a very clever, albeit dishonest, strategy.

The New York Times - 14th Nov 2016
The latest estimate of record-shattering heat comes as world leaders gather in Marrakesh, Morocco, for the annual United Nations talks on limiting the impact of climate change. The meeting is taking place in an atmosphere of alarm. President-elect Donald J. Trump has called human-caused climate change a “hoax” perpetrated by the Chinese; has vowed to dismantle the Environmental Protection Agency “in almost every form”; and has named Myron Ebell of the business-backed Competitive Enterprise Institute, who has deep oil industry ties, to head his E.P.A. transition team. Mr. Trump has vowed to withdraw from the Paris climate deal. It has entered into legal force — meaning that countries like the United States cannot legally withdraw for four years — but there are many actions the Trump administration could take to limit the execution of the agreement. That prospect has already stirred alarm among the world’s largest countries, and even a warning from China. |

I saw an interesting documentary about global warming back in the late 80's/90's. It was predicting what the world would be like in 50 years if global warming, aids and other such atrocities continue at the current rate.
On the subject of global warming it predicted that the world's temperature would increase by 5% during this 50 year period if current trends continued. Putting that in perspective it quoted that 5% lower than the (then) current temperature was considered the ice age. With that being said; I still think global warming is a load of bollox! |
