Strictly Come Dancing: In 12 years and 14 series, I've never seen a single episode, other than brief clips on breakfast TV etc, just doesn't appeal to me at all but rakes in over 10 million viewers.
Great British Bake off: see above.
Doctor Who: This is the biggest mystery, I really don't get it.

Never watch any soaps.

I used to watch Corrie and Eastenders up until 8 years ago. I can't believe all those hours of my life I wasted on them.

Strictly Come Dancing , never seen a minute of it but was very much aware of it, ditto Downton Abbey.

What i find odd is when a programme becomes something that everyone supposedly has been watching for years and i have absolutely never heard of it....

Great British Bake off , was one , couple of months ago someone left the show and there it was one of the top 2 or 3 news headlines on loads of sites . Couldn't believe it was such a big deal if i had literally never heard of it.

Another one Mrs Brown's Boys (?) . Clicked on an article about the top rated TV of last christmas and found that this - as expected seemingly - had easily been Number 1 in the ratings , and again had never heard of it before opening that article.

Most reality Tv and Game shows. Also, anything that the BBC or ITV show a trailer for. Their "drama" series seem to be so bad that you can tell that they will not be worth watching, just from watching the trailer for a few seconds. I'm sure it's not the result they are looking for when they show a trailer, but there you go. Plain

Yes, I would think so.

Report scandanavian_haven • November 13, 2016 9:44 PM GMT
Bake off really went over my head too, but then cooking programs never appeal to me.

Never seen ms browns boys either although seen clips, jokes appear a bit too forced, it's Irish brother Father Ted was natural TV gold, imo.

Anything with sarah Lancashire or Suzanne jones or any other wooden so-called "actress" from a soap opera. Anything described as "brilliant" by Boyd Hilton of Heat magazine when he does his "critique" of the week's TV, on Radio.

Watched one episode of this series' Bake Off and I thought it was actually quite good. Haven't seen any others like. Don't watch any reality or sitcoms at all though probably have caught some once upon a time.

Have tried the Walking Dead, Doctor Who and Deadwood but just am not interested. Don't think I've ever sat through an episode of Friends and don't think I've ever seen X-Files either. Not a jot of Downton Abbey or Peaky Blinders (which I'll get round to) either.

Some of you might as well just take your telly down cash converters.

My own opinion I know, but I dont know how anyone can dislike Game of Thrones. I will be gutted when it ends. You dont win 235 major awards if you're rubbish.

Watched Line of Duty because of the reviews on here but found the ending a load of old tosh so never again.

I like game of thrones, walking dead and breaking bad too.

The book that game of thrones is based on is rather good too and it helps with the plot lines! I read it after I had seen the first series but still enjoyed it.  I will do the same for the second series, watch it first then read the second book.

Although I really did not like them killing off sean bean, the only eye candy for me SadLaugh

East Enders, coronation street - woman's soaps. that continue for years.

I believe the sullivans lasted longer than the war.
