Well it is the pantomime season - best ugly sisters ever.
Great times - two big guns coming head to head for talks
the torys and the eu megamouth corrupt rump must be apoplectic with rage and frustration

I don't know why people are so upset. Think positive like these two great philosophers :

Farage must be respected more by the EU clowns or they really are dumb. I am sure May will have spoken to Nigel on the QT before his visit and Nigel, being the diplomat he is,will have listened. A big plus for UK.
The only thing the Tories have said that I agree with.
' He is an irrelevance'
' He is an irrelevance'
Farage is the man holding all the Aces
Tories acting like fools by saying that,

It was a great honour to spend time with @realDonaldTrump. He was relaxed and full of good ideas. I'm confident he will be a good President.

I think we should be glad of all the hard work Farage is doing to help US/UK relations at this time of transition. He is selflessly helping the national cause when he supposed to be enjoying his retirement.
I saw that earlier, Ron. I tried to post the picture on a thread but the moderator didn't approve it. Great to see the lads enjoying themselves!
Also nice i thought to see Boris snub the EU's emergency meeting to discuss
Donald Trump......that in itself is a disgrace of a meeting i feel.
If there ever needed to be an emergency meeting called it should be about Angela Merkel

Bravo Crags ! Just kept saying 'pending approval'.
You can't help feeling there's still a lot of fun to be had.

repeating what i said on another thread: I'm pretty neutral about farage. In particular very of his detractors in the UK are prepared to entertain how lucky we are to have him, compared to what the alternatives might have been.
but that photo pleases me immensely because of the epic levels of upset and confusion it will cause so many people.

oh ffs. it's late:

Nigel has asked his friend, Donald, if he wouldn't mind returning the bust of Winston Churchill to the Oval Office. Barack Obama, who thinly veiled his hatred of Britain, removed it the moment he arrived in 2008.
I think having President Trump in our corner will strengthen Britain's hand tremendously in the upcoming negotiations with the European Union.

That photograph should be framed and sent to Juncker to hang in the foyer of the European Parliament.
we'll see. syria is probably going to be the first problem for the special relationship.
Is this the end of the fun for Farage or will he get a job from Trump? US citizenship and perhaps US Ambassador to the European Union?
When you watch that last YT link I posted you realise how much insult the man has to withstand and he just fights back time after time after time.....like Rocky!
And he's really all by himself - the rest of that party are sh1t!

Indeed.
Would be a good and interesting man to have a pint or two with.
If he were a horse he'd be Persian Punch.....never gives up....when all those people are against he just rallies and gets his head back up!
It would be absolutely priceless if President Trump gave Nigel Farage a position of real influence in dealing with those unelected bastards at the European Union, I would pay good money to have such an event happen.
Better yet Farage went into the fray once more on behalf of Britain, of course, but our political elite are in blind denial of the man's formidable talents and too bitter to admit they were wrong.

Not beyond the realms of fantasy - Henry Kissinger was a US Secretary of State, born in Germany.
Nigel Paul Farage - 69th United States Secretary of State ?

Apparently, Trump has already offered Alex Salmond the assistant groundskeeper job at Turnberry, so anything is possible.
I can't help thinking about all the fantastic parties coming up at the White House, it will be like Playboy Mansion meets West Wing.

treetop - I doubt very much if Farage met up with and discussed his visit with the PM before he left these shores earlier this week to see Trump.
It has to be seen at this stage purely as a private visit and NOT an official one.

good picture trilby, the mighty Kassam with him too.
Trump won because millions of Americans looked at Brexit and liked what they saw. We got Brexit because of Farage.
So, it would appear our Nigel has changed the course of history on both sides of the pond in the same year.
A remarkable achievement.

poker
they are in complete denial that any of the last year or so has happened
that is the problem - the liberal and left cannot accept it - this is what is actually dangerous
as they seem to want to swing to confrontation and even violence
very worrying
what they should be doing is having open debates about the concerns of wage and salary earners not whinging about black lives matters and LGBT rights

Farage says our politicians should apologise to Trump....I agree.
Trump is prepared to do trade deals with the UK.
A bit of change from Obama threatening us if we left the EU.
Well done Sir Donald

trump also wants to look at other trade deals because he doesnt like how "disadvantaged" the usa are with them.
whether he will e able to amend them is another matter.
but with our deal still to be done if we leave the single market i seriously doubt we will get a better deal than what the likes of china have.
america dont export a lot....we export more to them than them to us lol.
its not int heir interests to be handing out favourable deals.
also expect nato costs to go up...

Britain already pays everything asked of her by NATO, it's our European partners who are shirking their responsibilities. Quelle surprise!
