And did you leave a wife or a sweetheart behind
In some loyal heart is your memory enshrined?

And fading to yellow in a brown leather frame?

Do all those who lie here know why they died?

I think both missing the point of Remembrance day.
A day for paying respect to those who have died serving their country in the armed services. I cannot see how EBs lyrics are at odds with that. |
