World turned upside down in fifteen months and instead of being in the stocks Merkel is still in business and considering standing again, I hope she does.

In the Netherlands the support for Nexit has dropped like a rock since your referendum. A couple of weeks ago 28% wanted Nexit and 55% didn't.

The euro is the tie that binds, Mr A, we were very fortunate.

^ dodgy pools? lets give them the chance in a referendum. then we will know.
do not believe the propaganda from Berlin.

We don't have the euro in Sweden, but there's still little support for leaving the EU. I agree that the euro hasn't worked out very well for many european countries though.
Report lfc1971 November 11, 2016 11:18 AM GMT
Holland would leave, and France would be even more likely, if they are allowed? I don't know.
Report lfc1971 November 11, 2016 11:20 AM GMT
they haven't allowed us to leave yet.
Report Mr.Anderson November 11, 2016 11:21 AM GMT
I don't think anyone will leave until they have seen how Brexit worked out for you. No offense, but so far few are impressed. Your government seems unprepared.
Report lfc1971 November 11, 2016 11:26 AM GMT
Mr Anderson, no offense but people who are not impressed are determined to be so.
Report Mr.Anderson November 11, 2016 11:27 AM GMT
We'll see. I would be very surprised if another country left before 2020.
Report lfc1971 November 11, 2016 11:28 AM GMT
everything should be very simple and easy, if Europe wants to solve some of its many problems listen to what the British people who voted Brexit have told them.
Report Mr.Anderson November 11, 2016 11:29 AM GMT
or voted to leave before 2020

If the Greeks had left, everything they owned would have been worth half, lfc. It really is asking Turkeys to vote for Christmas, a huge decision.
Report G1_Jockey_4 November 11, 2016 1:49 PM GMT
if the greeks had left they would have let syrians through into the rest of europe.

would have been chaos.

personally i think who ever gets involved in the conflict should do so knowing they will be taking on a share of refugees....if they dont want to dont get involved.

There is a referendum in Italy on December 4th - governemnt look like they will lose and then fall.
Report scandanavian_haven November 11, 2016 2:06 PM GMT
There is not a hope in hell for Le Pen, the French have more sense.
Report Platini November 11, 2016 2:27 PM GMT
they'll gang up on Le Pen, no chance of an upset there.

Italy, Austria, and the Netherlands all possibles tho.
Report saddo November 11, 2016 2:37 PM GMT
It seems to me that the more "they" gang up on people these days, the harder those people resist.
Report G1_Jockey_4 November 11, 2016 2:37 PM GMT
thinkt he dutch will be more reasonable if their government says its not a good idea to leave.

not sure on austria....possible their past fascist tendencies rise again....same goes for italy.

although italy arent doing that well financially ...so leaving would be a big mistake.
Report stickyvicky November 11, 2016 3:26 PM GMT
Putin throwing cash relief money to the Italian earthquake fund in central Italy at the moment, a catastrophe which has been  mostly ignored so far by the EU.
