up with Trump.....Farage is pretty popular out there, wouldn't surprise you

Think he's going to go down the media-tv route. This result will have done him no harm at all with the yanks..

Farage is the most influential politician in Western Europe and is seen as such across the pond.

Trump will offer him a job i am sure, but will Nige accept? He could still commentate on Brexit via skypeGrin
Report akabula • November 10, 2016 1:32 AM GMT
Not a bad call PM. Farage did well for Trump in the lead up to the election.
Report mokegibboni • November 10, 2016 2:51 AM GMT
Yes, I was thinking that as well. Trump could take him on as a political advisor, especially between now and January when Trump officially takes over the White House. I should think he would get well paid for a job like that.
Report mokegibboni • November 10, 2016 2:52 AM GMT
Apparently, Farage flew out yesterday (Wednesday) according to the BBC.
Report Ramruma • November 10, 2016 7:25 AM GMT
Can't see it. For a start, Farage is not American. My guess is Farage is hoping to do some television interviews and then milk the lecture circuit for a bit. If he can get a regular spot on telly as a pundit of sorts, that's great. And we should recall Trump's son was in talks about opening a TV station. But in government? No.
Report DStyle • November 10, 2016 7:33 AM GMT
not a huge fan of nigel (don't hate the man, probably just the red side of neutral), nor trump.

but i can't help be amused that out of all the politicians in western europe, he's currently the one closest to the future POTUS.

i would find it even more amusing if, and it's extremely unlikely, he were given a role by trump which required the EU's top brass to curry favour with him.

jockey - it is the fascism of the democrats we are seeing as the crowds create disorder and setting fires alight and firing rockets at buildings as sky news revels in it

it is the leftist bonny greer who brought up going back to the civil war and repeated it on sky papers last night

talk about incitement!!  We lost the vote so lets subvert democracy by going on the streets and try to whip up fear and anxiety (words some are using in the press)  - these are fascist tendencies but they are not coming from the right!!
