up with Trump.....Farage is pretty popular out there, wouldn't surprise you

Nor me.

Think he's going to go down the media-tv route. This result will have done him no harm at all with the yanks..

Farage is the most influential politician in Western Europe and is seen as such across the pond.

Trump will offer him a job i am sure, but will Nige accept? He could still commentate on Brexit via skypeGrin

Not a bad call PM. Farage did well for Trump in the lead up to the election.

Yes, I was thinking that as well. Trump could take him on as a political advisor, especially between now and January when Trump officially takes over the White House. I should think he would get well paid for a job like that.

Apparently, Farage flew out yesterday (Wednesday) according to the BBC.

Can't see it. For a start, Farage is not American. My guess is Farage is hoping to do some television interviews and then milk the lecture circuit for a bit. If he can get a regular spot on telly as a pundit of sorts, that's great. And we should recall Trump's son was in talks about opening a TV station. But in government? No.

not a huge fan of nigel (don't hate the man, probably just the red side of neutral), nor trump.

but i can't help be amused that out of all the politicians in western europe, he's currently the one closest to the future POTUS.

i would find it even more amusing if, and it's extremely unlikely, he were given a role by trump which required the EU's top brass to curry favour with him.

Wouldn't it be magnificent.
And how the BBC would treat him as a representative of the American government.

and was it wise to pick on china?

now i dont like a lot of their products but claiming he will add 45% tax on their products in an already good trade agreement and claiming he will sop china from de valueing their own currency is nothing short of making serious enemies....china will have others on their side.

the guy is a complete t1t

The Americans are scared of Trump but they'll give him some time to see what he is all about? It's a remarkable way to win an election.

jockey - it is the fascism of the democrats we are seeing as the crowds create disorder and setting fires alight and firing rockets at buildings as sky news revels in it

it is the leftist bonny greer who brought up going back to the civil war and repeated it on sky papers last night

talk about incitement!!  We lost the vote so lets subvert democracy by going on the streets and try to whip up fear and anxiety (words some are using in the press)  - these are fascist tendencies but they are not coming from the right!!
By:

jockey has raised fascism on two topics on here  - but burning and violence  is coming from the democrats not the right   - it is the sign  when you see people trying to undermine the  democratic vote

hope this helps
By:
The_KAMIKAZEE_DRINKING_MACHINE
When: 10 Nov 16 10:23
Not really. I don't think burning and violence are fascist tendencies. The fascist movement was quite short lived I don't see how it can take credit for the practice of burning and violence.

bonny greer was into taking the US back to the civil war - so we just let the nutters take over or do we comment and oppose their fantasies.
and just ignore the anti democratic democrats.

There seems to be a trend - lose a vote so you don't get your way. Go into a big sulk and/or flood the streets with people in some sort of attempt to bully by numbers and intimidate.  But hey, fk the vote, we want OUR OWN way.    Hmmm!!!  Remainers and Democrats - don't you just love them.  And backed by all the tv news outlets virtually egging them on it seems.
