That's okay I imagine most folk who voted leave did it not because it was in their own personal interest but because they thought it was right.
Nice to get further confirmation that the remainers voted simply on the basis of what they thought was more beneficial to their own personal circumstances (very tory like). |

I'm saying that my politics don't revolve around what is best for me. You appear to be suggesting that people vote for what benefits them and if they don't they are stupid (you would probably criticise the tories for the same thing mind you).
If my property prices don't go up due to less immigration, my holidays cost slightly more and my shares and investments do less then that's not something that I'm going to change my political beliefs becuase of. You appear to be one of these middle class folk who pretends to care about the working class and immigrants but really doesn't give a **** as long as they can do everything in their power to prevent anything having an affect on their property prices, investments, 2 holidays a year whilst still being able to maintain the facade that they are one of the enlightened caring ones to there friends when hosting dinner parties in their all white cul de sac. |

I've also just googled rentier.
a person living on income from property or investments. Not sure how you got this from what I said either. The property I mentioned is the one I stay in. I don't live off income from investments either. I live off the income from my job. Any investments are an attempt to plan for the future and diversify. |
