Recall The Guardian , without waiting for any investigation , ran an editorial saying the murder showed how terrible white racism had become .

The kids who did it served about 4 years i think

How much longer will they go on milking this?

27 years and they're still going on about it.

Is it right that this one killing should attract so much attention in comparison to all the other people who have been killed since?

Vested interests at work imo.

Kriss Donald (2 July 1988 – 15 March 2004) was a Scottish 15-year-old white male who was kidnapped and murdered in Glasgow in 2004 by a gang of men of Pakistani origin, some of whom fled to Pakistan after the crime.[2][3][4][5] Daanish Zahid, Imran Shahid, Zeeshan Shahid, and Mohammed Faisal Mustaq were later found guilty of racially motivated murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.[2][3] A fifth participant in the crime was convicted of racially motivated violence and jailed for five years.

Never heard much after it happened

Taylor, Lawrence, awful stuff. Sounds like the Scottish lad might have suffered a lot more, also awful stuff. The media are strange aren't they.

Might be to do with the fact that in the Kriss Donald case there was no police corruption and the suspects were caught and sent to prison saddo.

The BBC has been criticised by some viewers because the case featured on national news only three times and the first trial was later largely confined to regional Scottish bulletins including the verdict itself.

But still fife i think the UK deserved to know a bit more

Generally a news item will probably get more coverage down South TheChaser though you may have a point about Rotherham.

I remember how the racist BNP etc were castigated when they demonstrated outside the courts in liverpool  - nothing to see there

until the bbc, politicians etc etc were dragged screaming into the new arena of muslim gangs mistreating young white girls
they just did not want to know. What a can of worms was opened but so many trying to hush it up.

Can we all agree murder is wrong, whoever commits it?

After that, watch or don't watch this programme as a piece of drama. You all have your own ideas on the political bias of the BBC and mainstream media in general and nothing anyone says or does will change that opinion.

I've never stuck needles in my eyes, or wired my testicles to a car battery either – where possible I try to avoid doing things that cause me pain or grief.

I suggest many on here do the same.

More intolerance and venom from the righteous one. If you dared ask Kriss Donald's family I guess they would say he was lovely, and the people who killed him are horrible. The only reason most of us haven't heard about is is because he was no use to the liberal cause. Shame on you for not caring about the lad.
By:

Of course everyone remembers it, it rightly got wall to wall coverage, I was a card carrying Guardian reader at the time and wept about the boy. I have stated why I suspect Donald's death was little reported, what do you think the reason might have been?
By:
mobo
When: 08 Nov 16 11:26
you see the same over white cops / black civilians killed - the first gets little coverage the second - full coverage with riots

muslim and black crime many try to cover up ignore or play down - honkeys get a full spread

Where did I say I didn't care about him?

Someone acts the pr!ck, gets fronted up about it and then desperately tries to create the idea that they're the aggrieved one. God, some people are pathetic.

If you want to show your empathy for Mr Donald and his family then go and start a thread. On this here anonymous betting forum. It'll be a great gesture.

This is a thread about a TV documentary about a killing that a very large proportion of the country will remember but has been hijacked by the usual rabble with their "they started it", "yes that's bad, but have you seen this" sh!te. Utterly, utterly shameful.

I posted it not to see LOOK LOOK at this

I posted it to see if people on this thread knew of it

But since we are at it rememeber Ross Parker and the BBC coverage ? which they later admitted they should have covered more off ?

Peterborough fans will remember

Parker's murder is cited as an example of the lack of attention the media and society give to white victims of racist attacks compared with the coverage given to ethnic minorities. Organisations such as the BBC and some newspaper journalists later admitted to failing to cover the case sufficiently.[9][10] It is also suggested the case demonstrates how society has been forced to redefine racism so as to no longer exclude white victims.[11]

They all like admitting they didn't cover it enough afterwards don't they

The fxckers hid Saville for years though so f.all surprising TBH

2006 article

Nearly half of all victims of racially motivated murders in the last decade have been white, according to official figures released by the Home Office.
The data, released under Freedom of Information legislation, shows that between 1995 and 2004 there have been 58 murders where the police consider a racial element played a key part. Out of these, 24 have been where the murder victim was white.

I presume we will get all the white victims programmes in a sequence soon and see how they are coping 20 years on

The default position for categorising these events is:

White on black = criminally racist.

Black on white = criminal.

For a black attack on a white to be termed racist the evidence has go to be pretty damning.

While if it's white on black the presence of a racial element is assumed, until lack of evidence proves otherwise.

I remember the Imam and Muslim shopkeeper (moderates both of them)   the police and 'community leaders' going around telling the 'community' to be calm etc
desperate to blame it on racists and both murders turn out to be radical muslims within their own community.  I have never forgotten the police reaction.

Inverted racism is alive and well, but the discussion about the failed soft approach to Islam will have to happen sometime.

I read not long ago that young straight white men will have the hardest time as they have nothing moan about or something

gays march about to use womans toilets

other colours march for equal rights which they already have

the list goes on but it only takes a few young whites to get thinking this is a joke and the outbreak may begin and it could get nasty but that's what people in higher places want more than likely
