Judging by the amount of knives they just stuck into him on the 6pm news.

Who'd have thunk it!Whoops

It was anything but an impartial news report, savage attack on him.
15 minutes on American election, just over a minute on how many Tesco bank account holders had their accounts compromised, a lot more relevant, very poor.
Report donny osmond • November 7, 2016 6:25 PM GMT
why so much on usa election when we are in uk ?

its just overkill, too many gravytrainers on jollies in usa

next to nothing about mother theresa in india
and or reaction to proposed debate on brexit

nothing on rip off food suppliers or state of uk

had to switch it off ,

ffs
Report Just Checking • November 7, 2016 6:26 PM GMT
It was like a "best of" of everything they could think of that was bad for Trump.
No such "best of" of bad moments for Hilary!

If Hitler was standing against Ghandi and the BBC hinted it might be better if people voted for Ghandi there would be people on here complaining of biasCry

Report pa lapsy • November 7, 2016 9:29 PM GMT
Fife it is their job to report unbiased. the BBC have nothing to do with an American election though it has generated a bit of interest, they went back again at approx 6.20-6.26 to give more on it.
As said above it must be a slow news day, though the time they gave that a bank was hacked and a large percentage of customers savings were stolen didn't merit more air time beggars belief, why was it glossed over?
Maybe pandering to big business/banks wish not to create a certain amount of hysteria?
Priorites wrong imo.
Report Just Checking • November 7, 2016 9:33 PM GMT
The tesco stuff probably wasn't covered much as the only bad financial news the BBC are interested in is news they can blame on Brexit.

I'm sick of all sorts of bias from the BBC. Trump is a tw*t but their pro-EU or pro-migrant bias being totally beyond what's reasonable.
Report fife • November 7, 2016 9:36 PM GMT
I think they have been reasonably fair its just that despite both candidates being unlikeable Trump has made more faux pas and therefore comes across worse when being analysed.
Report geordie1956 • November 7, 2016 9:37 PM GMT
sounds like the zealots are preparing for defeat; nobody with any real sense could vote for trump despite the obvious doubts about clinton - she might prove to be a disaster but he most certainly would be
Report ZenMaster • November 7, 2016 9:42 PM GMT
The problem is political bias generally means (for the BBC) being impartial regarding the Tories, Labour and libs (the establishment reps)

All Parties have been pro EU and pro immigration and anti Trump.

So the BBC has loosened it's tie, regarding it's commitment to the Royal Charter need for impartiality.

Never the less, they have deviated away from what is reasonable, as you say JC.
Report pa lapsy • November 7, 2016 9:42 PM GMT
BBC used to be fair,it has gone very luvved up,as said above it is becoming a dead loss and not sure i can even believe the weather with them.
Yeah,Trump is a tw*t but an honest one imo, just something about sugar sweet Hilary i'm not gone on.
Report Just Checking • November 7, 2016 9:47 PM GMT
But how much of the negative stuff about Hilary are they hearing over there that we don't hear about over here?
There's got to be a lot more to the amount of mistrust of her than some emails, we never hear any of it.
Report MC Roller • November 7, 2016 9:51 PM GMT
Trump dared to criticise you know who, the bbc love you know who. Only one way it was ever going to go with that biased bunch of freaks.
Report mobo • November 7, 2016 9:53 PM GMT

Report mobo • November 7, 2016 10:00 PM GMT
as I say - walk down certain streets of west london and you will HEAR the difference - that is why some don't fall for the pro immigrant and pro eu agenda - they experience it!!!
Report Just Checking • November 7, 2016 10:01 PM GMT
Just think about how many attacks have the BBC have aimed at Farage? Yet the majority who voted in the referndum took Farage's side NOT the BBC's side. And no doubt about it they are massively pro EU. It must really rub them the wrong way.LaughLaughLaughLaugh

If you watch the BBC they are trying to tell us that everyone who supports trump is a racist nutcase, same as the BBC try to paint all Brexiters here, but we live here so know different.
Report mobo • November 7, 2016 10:02 PM GMT
when you actually PHYSICALLY  see a migrant somali family put in a nice three bed council house ahead of indigenous families who have waited years for a decent place  - then you start to realise something is wrong - then local people realise.
Eu migrants getting social housing after a few months - I do not joke.

nowadays you get accused of racism for stating facts

the bbc were covering tesco in depth yesterday - had an interview with a bloke whose account was emptied and predictably had been told to gtf when he said he had bills to pay.

Thommo is down to commentate on the election race.....

And they're off, lets see who will take em along, and they're not messing about here. Looks like Hilarious Clinton leads, and I can't find the other one at the moment, Attack Datrump, hopefully they never bumped him off in the stalls, ho ho ho, I love it....

Hilarious Clinton going well and still no sight of Attack Datrump. I swear I saw him earlier, when led up by her lass Bea Beesea. Maybe he whispered lewd comments in her ear, we all know about those talkin horses. I should know, I made a packet running the hotline....

A furlong to go, she's home and hosed, there are cheers from the crowd, bbc news are ecstatic, channel 4, boo, news, are overjoyed, cnn have cracked open the bubbly, fox news have pulled the plug. But wait, I've noticed Attack Datrump with my binoculars, ho ho ho, there's a huge padlock on his stall, very crafty indeed. Hilarious Clinton wins a thriller, that's a great photo for sky, bbc, channel 4 and cnn. Goodnight.

There are lots of qualities required but basically you either got it or you aint.

Of the two I think Trump is the one, but we make our own decisions, as will the American voters.
