bigmo and Studyform are both good posters imo. No point turning on each other other something like this, that in the grand scheme of things, is a short term thing.
If I was religious I'd pray you were right, s_h. I'm not.
But unless something radical happens, soon, I fear for everyone.

the leftists and liberals won`t like this, they can`t see that they are destroying America and Europe with their policies.
Now Trump has the terrible task., the same as Brexit, of trying to put right decades of mistakes. Well done the American people.

The last time Europe was destroyed, it wasn't lefties who were responsible.
When the working classes anywhere are seduced by the far right, it never ends well.

They shouldn't heap **** on people until they break in that case.

completely true.
It's how it starts.
Once the xenophobia and tribalism's gone. There's nothing else.

I try to stay out of most of the political threads on here as everyone is going to upset someone with their posts and I try not to get involved anymore. But I posted how I feel. If there had been more commonsense and fairness in trying to sort out a lot of these issues we wouldn't all be at each others throats.
germany 1930´s
it wont happen (i hope) but if it grows further there could be big problems ahead.
think though trumps victory could actually be a blessing.
especially if he is true to his words on trade deals.
unless we are stupid enough to bow in to his demands of course.
probably be a GE before then anyway and the tories will be out....so no deal will be agreed.

who will be replacing the tories?
who will be replacing the tories?
another party will....the one who grabs the attention of the 48+%
whilst the rest of the vote gets split into 52-% between the tories labour and the ukip.

btw im not labour.
i dont follow parties religiously or handed down by generation....
if a party shows their colours like new labour did they have a lot to do to win me back.
the lib dems are interesting ..they want to keep us in the eu.
the tories have made a dogs dinner of the whole affair.

The smiles and smirks have disappeared from the sky news presenter's faces. They cannot face it - still coming out with the negative. It is Farage/clegg debate all over again. Corbyn/chemical smith, The eu elections they were wrong on. Brexit, UKIP, Farage, the initial labour leadership. Wrong wrong and wrong again.
It has all gone 'serious' face.

They just don't get it do they. The more they call people racist and idiots for having a different view the more people will switch off to the message they are trying to get over.
Kimberley Leonard from Sky News can't take it either..
three guests on bbc round the table - not one has a good word to say for trump - it is horrendous bias - and they complain about Putin's Russia (which is controlled by him) but they are doing the same here
The Guardian comments are hilarious it's better than the first copy of Viz

There's a lot to be said for this. No matter whether you think it's right or wrong, from a pragmatic point of view, this is a lesson that needs to be learned.

Bang on.
It's also why the polls are wrong. If you start accusing people of being racist thicko's for voting in a particular manner than you can't expect them all to be entirely honest when you ask them who or what they are voting for.
