Corbyn is a republican and anti- British. He will vote for any foreign power over England and any regime no matter how barbaric he will support if he felt it would destroy Britain and England.

Do not trust him or the Labour Party, they don't deserve to be trusted.
Report saddo • November 6, 2016 11:03 AM GMT
They are happy to share whatever we have with whoever wants to take it, an election would be a good thing.
Report Shab • November 6, 2016 12:19 PM GMT
I really cannot understand that by Jeremy. He is basically asking for a General Election, in which Labour will get battered, and will inevitably be followed by another Labour leadership bid, assuming he does not resign.

Methinks he is just playing politics, sensing that May is on the back foot. If he pushes too hard, it may go disastrously wrong for him.
Report Dr Crippen • November 6, 2016 12:26 PM GMT
Don't knock Corbyn, he's doing the UK a service.

Being Labour leader guarantees they'll never be in government while he's in charge.

"how stupid can you get, and he is supposed to be highly educated."
My memory is he achieved mediocre school grades, started some cr*p course at a poly, dropped out of THAT, and went to work for a union or council or something before becoming a career politician. Not sure how highly educated fits in there - I'd have thought reading the sort of marxist cr*p he no doubt reads in his spare time REDUCES your net education level!

Indeed. Tax-Dodger Tony Benn was a true Socialist.

When someone of a more Conservative outlook does this, they are automatically described as the 'unacceptable face of capitalism', a 'spiv' or just a plain old 'fascist'.

Was Tony Benn afraid that a future Labour Chancellor might want to get his hands on the cash?

Is there ANY course of action Corbyn could take that wouldn't have you lot frothing at the mouth about how useless/unqualified/wrong, blah blah blah he is?

If he said we should leave, you'd all say he is going against the Labour stance.
If he says we shouldn't leave, you say all the crapp already said on here.
If he says nothing, he's ineffectual and no good.

The fact is, that ever since the bloke got to be leader of the Labour Party, which after all was AFTER the last election, the press, TV and radio have all done a non-stop hatchet job on him.

Others of you however, are complete Twunts and there is no possibility of you being reasoned with, loads of people have tried.... unsuccessfully.
One or two of you are even worse and are quite detestable.

Stick to his principles!

He voted against the Maastricht Treaty and The Lisbon Treaty and been an opponent of the EU for most of his career. He could have backed or even fronted the 'Exit Left' campaign but he didn't instead giving minimal support to the Remain campaign (what was he ? '7.5 out of 10' about it was the quote?)
Report tobermory • November 6, 2016 5:28 PM GMT
where has he said he is going to vote against it regardless ?

Hasn't he just said they will vote on whatever the final brexit plan is , depending on the terms etc ... but ultimately it will have to happen

Corbyn does not give a sh1t about the EU , baffled why anyone thinks otherwise.

There were people on here that put more effort into the Remain campaign than he did.

Ah yes, the US election, the peculiar direct correlation of love, on here at least, between; Farage, Tory, Brexit and Trump to win.

That's the problem with humans. scan_hav, tribalism......
Whether it's schools, sports teams, countries, bits of countries, religions, ice-cream vans and yes, even politics, people want to feel like they belong with other like-minded people. Problem is, the like minded is more important than the thing they're like minded about, so it gets all heated and then snowballs into mob mentality.

Incidentally, I don't think you're detestable either Wink

Again - not for me there isn't.

Brexit - resounding yes.

Trump - an over-privileged frat boy, whose joke has gone too far. He hasn't the grasp on detail to be C-in-C. As soon as it gets messy he'll be off wanting to grab pu$$y in Trump Towers or play golf with Tiger.

Tory - Never have, never will

Farage - Is a politician and therefore not to be trusted, but is the best of a bad bunch. Very far from the 'man of the people' he wants to come across as though.

HTH

....and therein lies the problem.

All Brexiteers aren't 'Little Englanders (funny how it's never 'Little Welshies') and all Remainders aren't 'luvvies'

We've got to figure out  a way of living with all this, eventually.

I think Rogers views are replicated across millions in the Uk.
But certain sections of the media (and chit chat) automatically assume that once you have ticked the first box, you must have ticked
at-least two of the next three, and are probably a bit racist.

However, most would tick the box that says Corbyn is unelectable.
Although he does make a lot of good points, they are always outweighed by his ridiculous open border policy, which
negates any of his positives.
Report STUDYFORM • November 6, 2016 8:28 PM GMT
I was really talking about some of the more prominent forum users, roger.
Where you see a brexit, you often see a Trump, or maybe it's the other way round.
I'm sure you understand what I'm getting at really.

Ironically he was calling for A50 to be triggered immediately after the vote.

Personally I always thought Farage had more political nous than to be in anyway associated with an idiot like Trump.

Seems some of my fellow Brexiteers have also fallen for his bumper-plate statements and unenforceable 'policies'
Report ZenMaster • November 6, 2016 11:40 PM GMT

Are we a so called democracy or not?

If so any MP voting against Brexit should not be allowed to stand for election as any result could always be called null and void.

Might as well live in a dictatorship then.

And these so called MP's cannot see that basic fact?
Report donny osmond • November 7, 2016 6:53 PM GMT

you are confusing democracy with dictatorship
Report mafeking • November 7, 2016 6:59 PM GMT
lot of bluster going on. no labour MP in a remotely marginal leave voting constituency will dare vote against brexit. be tantamount to resigning
Report treetop • November 7, 2016 7:22 PM GMT
I would like to see more MP's declaring their personal interests, such as a pension from the EU, and standing aside similar to jurors requirements.
