I get a RIDICULOUS adrenaline rush. I can feel my heart beat in my chest and get that rush feeling.
Surely some poor sods must've had heart attacks and died using ebay?
Found face down on the keyboard... I'm sure some posters (who I won't name) on here will be found face down on their keyboard, but at least the ebayer won't have their trousers round their ankles

I hate getting outbid by an eBay last-second bidding bot, most vexing! Your advice regarding that computer problem I was experiencing a while ago (turning itself on with the clock reset) proved to be correct, sir. Many thanks indeed. |

No point in having a bot now, as the Ebay system counts down for you and allows you to bid last second. Getting outbid is not a problem; you just bid the max you are prepared to pay, and the system takes care of the rest. If you get outbid it'll only be because someone is prepared to pay more than you.

I still snipe as other snipe, don't give the opposition time to think about it and up their bid!
I had a funny one the other day, buy now or best offer. I put an offer in which was fair (not a p1ss take) and they put in a counter offer. I upped mine by a 10er .. and he upped HIS counter offer! I didn't think that's how haggling worked! I didn't get the gourd :( |

I had to replace a motherboard battery since then as well. Really stupid place it was as well, had to really strip things out to get at it.
