Police in the US state of Iowa say they have arrested the suspect in the "ambush style" killing of two police officers.

He has been named as Scott Greene, a 46-year-old man from Urbandale, a suburb of Des Moines.
The first officer was found shot in Urbandale at 01:06 local time (06:06 GMT) on Wednesday. The second was found 20 minutes later several blocks away.

Both were sitting in their patrol cars when they were attacked.

The motive for the attacks is unclear.

Shocking

Yep, let's use the killing of 2 cops to try to score some political points.

Bravo mobo. Hope your mum's proud.

the death of anyone by murder is to be condemned particularly when it is hijacked by political groups in favour of one specific one.

I hope you will condemn these killings too, instead of resorting to personal insults

PP - with respect, the death of police is always a political issue. Why? Because it touches on many sociological matters that lead to violence and other rebellion. Causes of such, mostly have their roots in political decisions.

Added to that, this forum is a grand canyon away from the families of those involved in any tragedy. Therefore we can look at the wider picture and discuss reasons behind the story.

Don't you mean "button the faux outrage" ?

If you "bottle" something then you are keeping it to savour later.
