we have been due a massive correction in inflation for some time.
brexit expedites it and will make it more extreme, but it was inevitable. it's going to very unpleasant for lots of people, and will almost certainly be blamed on brexit, when that's not really all of the story. |
|
By:
Everything after Brexit is inevitable why didn't politicians tell us before Brexit?.How come Brexiters are cleverer than remainers? are 52% cleverer than 48%?

I'd happily pay more tax if the interloping benefit tourists and low paid workers taking the jobs that could be taken by our unemployed could be re-repatriated asap. I'd also like citizenship revoked for anyone who was not born here or is not married to a UK citizen. The skilled workers and workers in areas where there are a staff shortage should be very welcome and perhaps have annual visa renewals. We'd have shorter NHS queues, less congested cities, less demand on housing and schools, control of our borders ......

You mean Stow that mortgage payments would drop ,house prices would fall
people born here will have to work,we get to see a doctor without waiting three weeks Traffic could move about due to a much less busy school run so health would improve and service industry like myself will be able to deal with people quicker(i say this tongue in cheek)because people will speak English and i can understand what is said. It's a pipedream ![]() |

One of Gaurdians comments...
Fact is all those pub bores, closet racists and double-glazing salesmen that backed Brexit now realise that a slogan is one thing, and reality is quite another. You don't have anyone with enough brain cells to pull it off. Because your average Brexiter needs a diagram to flush the toilet, let alone negotiate a trade deal. |
|
By:
you hav top surgeons who don't have UK citizenship
takes 14 years to train as one |
|
By:
The other problem with Brexit is the time it will take from Parliamentary discussion and argument will consume
our MP's leaving little time to run the country effectively. |
|
By:
Must be wonderful to be so intelligent BM, why not put your intellect to good use instead of spouting shyte on a gambling forum every day?
|
|
By:
^ The Brexiteers object to the presence of intelligence!
|
|
By:
Basically people like Farage and Boris and Gove are great oratory critics but don't have a clue of how to build a new Britain
outside the E.U.,neither do I think is anyone in the Tory Government capable of guiding us through a brexit safely. |

Unlike me to sympathise with a politician xmoney, but Cameron was undone-and the referendum lost imo- when the EU refused him permission to do what the Germans have just done, suspend benefits to other EU citizens. The irony is clear.

the pound rose for a few years and price decreases were
never passed on to the consumer.... supermarkets continued to increase their prices to increase their profits. some things like eggs were stupidly priced and other prices have been shown up by aldi lidl and the like. supermarkets of course seem happy to donate to political parties hey ho ... |
|
By:
Brexiteers it will take 50 to 100 years to correct the madness of the decisions made by the leftists and liberals and communists and nation haters !! it may be impossible but make no mistake, they have fu@ked up big time.
