I normally go to the bank vault on a Monday morning to count my Krugerrands, but quite honestly this long-overdue 'Clearance' has the potential to be an unmissable televisual feast. It almost demands staying home and watching while a satisfyingly full English Breakfast lines the stomach.
Calais and Britain alike desperately need a 'good news' story to take away the stench of this last week, when some adult Illegal Immigrants pretending to be Refugee Children were scandalously given VIP access to Britain by our Government. Worse still, disgracefully without a peep of protest from spineless and complicit 'Opposition' parties.
For good measure, let's all hope a top British 'Leave'-supporting firm like JCB are supplying the bulldozers. Better again if Dim Kay is airborne in the Sky HD News Copter, with maybe Allen, Corbyn and Sturgeon for company to provide a running commentary. Kay's CV could do with another landmark event, to follow her sure-footed command of the hunt for her first-name terms pal 'Raoul' in 2010.
Hopefully tomorrow's occasion will be a lot more satisfying than the feeble 'Dale Farm Non-Clearance' of a few years ago. One still shudders at the memory of limp officialdom. An event with which the words 'booze-up' and 'brewery' are forever inextricably linked.
To paraphrase the social commentator IAN Mohammed, "Buy, beg or borrow a telly. Should be mandatory viewing".

Don't they just love immigrants let's carry on bombing the fook out of the Middle East and then laugh at them when
they turn up on our doorsteps. Let's pretend all the children are adults even though they maybe a couple of years older or younger with the odd 25 year old adult then we can tell ..tar them with the same brush is what I say..then I can be happy thinking I've done my bit for world peace it's not my fault they believe in a different religion or customs just make sure I don't see them cooking a takeaway of that food that we all hate so much.This happened before in the 1960's and Enoch was right when he said in 15 years the Black man would have the whip hand.It's good that the issue of Commonwealth migration was brought up back then and now we know the result eg Notting Hill lets stand up again against the insanity of walking all over countries and letting them come to live in our cherished land owned by people not from here or just plain rich.Hatred , bitterness,and animosity are our best attributes let's use them. |

One wonders if - just as one can volunteer to be one of those phoney old bill, or join the Territorials - one could volunteer to police the border? You know the sort of thing - uniform, boots, bayonet. Your country needs you!!
There would probably be quite a response to such a call to arms given the demographic in the English east coast regions where such a band of merry men would be needed. |

I can imagine him walking slowly towards the camera, conveying a feeling of deep seriousness and sadness. As the bulldozers do their work in the background. Tears in his eyes and a fat pay check in his pocket. It's a living. |

I'm Irish so its nice to see Irish men and women doing well.
My problem is its always the passionate about being compassionate ones that do well. The BBC have this policy of whatever you do don't employ a Brit and if you must for the sake of it have a token Brit make sure he has some minority qualification. Fergal Keane and Orla Guerin both drip with left wing sentimentality and falseness. The other lady mentioned on this thread is naturally not a Brit either,Canadian I think. |

where was the intergration of these folk ? as for bbc and their reporters its a bbc plot to be news supplier of choice around the world, and a load of oxbridge boys wouldnt cut it interesting to see how brexit affects bbc recruitment |

Here's an example of BBC thinking on recruitment policy from earlier this year. Six months or so on and we have yet to hear of any follow-up action, let alone prosecution of what appears to be a quite scandalous and unhidden discrimination policy.

the men of course may be travelling alone to get to uk, where they will settle and then bring in their family later some of these "12 year old" refugees have 3 or 4 kids of their own |

News reporter from the bbc just been on saying these young men sorry children whoops she will get a telling off for that saying there staying in a very nice part of Devon lovely scenes she said must stress only staying for 72 hours before begin moved on to a poorer area and dumped there Devon council said there is no pull on there rich budget but we do not want there grown men sorry boys here thank you
