i lived it - the unemployment offices should be shut down. Leave the consoles. the internet connection. Stop appointments with the robots that pretend to be advisers. Stop all 'sanctions'. Kafkaesque is a mild description of what they do to people.
Building Hell as a project. Each year it continues it gets worse. Like a cancer.

The current system is so difficult for some, they do not make a claim at all. I know two, there are many more.

In fact that is one of the reason's it has been made so difficult, to discourage people claiming, in my opinion.

A lot of this has happened since the Credit Crunch, as a country, we are broke.

In fact a lot of the World is broke.

My own opinion.

now you are asked to apply to jobs that don't exist. If you don't apply. you are sanctioned.
they text your phone with an appointment time. if you miss your text, or it's sent to another phone by mistake you are sanctioned. Two weeks money. Basically they knock you off the register for any reason. It's harassment. They've made it all computerized. You log into an account online like Betfair and you keep a record of all your job searches into a database.

Now... the facts... there are no jobs at the jobcentre. It's all illusion. the jobs are at the job agencies. You can get a job by giving a percentage to the agency.

texting phones can easily be avoided

you are not permitted to give them a mobile number and no one should be made to carry a mobile phone

Also on your site dirct gov i suppose your talking about

If you read the rules you don't even have to give them permission to look into it.You can make it viewable to job roach or not and they only have the authority to look in where you are there. But they will make it look as though you have to give them all access which you don't.I will find the rules online.I never had to use any tactics as my JC was not that bad but i here it's bad now but still they can't blag a gambler can they.

everyone wants to buy and sell. One person sells what he`s bought for a higher price and buys something else with the profit.
Someone else buys back the sold item from the buyer at a loss so that he can sell it somewhere else for more.

Then maybe he slaps himself on the head and calls himself a fool.

All anyone does is trade, what would schrodinger make of that?

Sadly we don't live in the world of Quantum Physics where cats can be both dead or alive at the same time.

The more people looking for a job, the less chance any one person has of getting a job. We need less people in this country

not more.

The Credit Crunch is the cause, compared to 2008 my town centre looks like it has been through a war, so many big shops have closed as

well as companies on the industrial estate.

People at the bottom feel the squeeze the most, sadly they always doSad

one thing is for sure no one should worry about finding a job.

there are  so many of them.

which one to choose? I don't know that is the problem.

perhaps we should look in the box and ask schrodinger, he might know.

It's a comedy right?

The part where the woman opens a tin of tomatoes in the food bank and starts eating them with her hand made me burst out laughing.

Unfortunately Ken's films have never done it for me, yet the sentiment resonates, as it should for all.
The problem is on a number of levels, not least the acting that is wooden and the situation so contrived it's daft.
For eg. I understand that the portrayal of the state run system make its subjects look like autotrons that have a set agenda and script to read from....but where the woman breaks away from her duties to attempt to help Daniel work a computer ( who himself has 40 years life experience but still runs a mouse up a screen) and gets a dressing down from her superior was too much like 1984, though I guess that was its point.
But however bad the system is (which it unquestionably is) it is so because it's impossible to cater for all parties all the time under all circumstances.
There is a dynamic at play, on the one hand people need to be given support and on the other they need to defend against the human instinct of many to take too much. The question of there being a shortfall monetarily that creates a burden upon the uneducated, ill informed or generally less able individuals is prevalent, in no small part because people have been allowed to rape egregious profits under the premis of aspiration. But compare the realities of now to those of the time of the industrial revolution. The invention of the machines plunged huge numbers into abject poverty, with no wealth fare state to fall back upon, yet now we have to for some reason deny a rising water level of lost trades and required skills.

The question should be; is the state meaningfully creating hardship upon certain catagories of people?
If we say yes then we need to act to fix a system that has gone too far with the stick.
If however we conclude that there is no such thing as utopia then we can expect to have to fight for ourselves rather than exist with a belief of expectancy.
