remember seeing a short film about a lad catching a massive pike in a small pond, really caught my imagination, didnt have the money for fishing tackle but got hold of some full books of green sheild stamps from somewhere and exchanged them in a shop in lewisham got a rod,reel and some bits and bobs and was fishing for pike within a week,didnt catch a pike but caucht a perch of about a pound ,it looked huge to me at the time !

Regal cinema Morriston (near Swansea) very early 60's, went every Saturday morning. I remember all the shenannigans going on in there, kids getting chucked out for being too rowdy etc. 6d in the stalls, 9d for the rich kids in the circle. Obligatory bag of sweets on the way in, 3d.
