It seems that most have chosen a life of benefits and whatever else they can get on the side, very few of them got jobs I gather. Germans were told these people would benefit their society.
from what I have read it would seem their constitution makes it easier to depose a despised leader than the French system. There is some hope for them.

Starting from the 60s when they asked Turkey for labor, Germany is being run by immigrants. And it will continue to be run by immigrants. We have a fertility rate of 1.38. I don't think there are many in the 'next generation' that will need her help. She has to keep the immigrants happy, and that is at the cost of the germans(who have been living off the immigratns and enjoying their lives without any worry about building a family)
Just like in Britain, if she angers the immigrants, she'll realize her own folk are too lazy to work. Either way Germany is doomed. And so is most of Europe.

Also, I know Merkel bashing is almost as popular a sports as football among some circles, but care to explain why she's the primary person at fault here? The majority of asylum seekers living in Garmisch-Partenkirchen currently are from black Africa.
African refugees have been coming for years. Increasingly so not since any words or actions from Merkel or the German government last september, but since the US and UK led parts of NATO and some useful idiots into war in Libya, which turned the country into an easy transit nation for refugees on their way across the mediterranean because Libyan authorities (the few that exist) neither keep people outside, nor inside, and in addition refuse to take anyone back.
Maybe some tory and US bashing would be more fit regarding the reason african refugees have it rather easy to set sail towards Europe.

Manneh left his entire family behind in The Gambia at the age of 17 and only started playing football when he settled in a German refugee centre.
"I can't believe this," he said.
"Is this real or am I dreaming? This is the greatest moment of my life."
Manneh impressed in a trial with German fifth tier side Blumenthaler in 2014 and went on to score 15 goals in 11 games for their youth team.
His form attracted interest from Bremen, who signed him for their reserves in March 2015.
Manneh was making just his fourth appearance for the first team when he scored in the 59th minute against Leverkusen at Bremen's Weser Stadion.
"It's hard to describe my feelings," he added.
"I've been so proud to be the first Gambian to play four Bundesliga games, and now I'm proud to be the first one to score."
