also someone mentioned in the last thread, it leaves the game open tocheating, someone could easily be taking instructions via an ear piece thatwould be hid by the head wear.
I think thats taking the Islamophobism a bit too far. You can use an ear-piece inside a headgear in a lot of other sports without anyone knowing, like cricket, olympic boxing, cycling, lacrosse, soccer(keeper), baseball, ice hockey etc etc. I am pretty sure most of these sports do not allow in-play coaching. You could argue that outside help in chess maybe more useful than say in soccer or cricket, but that's not that big an argument against hijab to be fair.
I can't even imagine what your response would have been to fencing if it was a game predominantly played in muslim areas? Would we in Europe have rejected the game because you can wear an ear-piece under your attire? or would we ask them to play naked?
Firstly they are playing in their own country. But even if a girl was playing in England, and wanted to wear a hijab or even a full face covering, you could easily have the gear checked before starting the game. If that was not possible(because the checking would have to be performed by a woman of course), you could disquality the player and tell her to go home and play wth a hijab all they want. But to blame a religion or accuse someone of cheating because they wear a hijab is taking it a bit too far imo.
