What are you doing with a dog in the house around your two little children that is capable of doing that damage and turning on you as well? Ignorant, dangerous people. Shouldn't be in charge of a goldfish let alone children or dogs.

Bit harsh, dog might have had mental issues, you never know til they've killed someone.

The law needs changing. For dangerous breeds it should be illegal to own them if you have children and it should also require a licence. Anyone with a criminal record shouldn't be allowed to own one
Harsher sentences are required to deter these idiots from allowing dangerous dogs to be anywhere near children.
Any dog (whatever their size) can be dangerous if they are not trained properly

Bring back the Dog Licence, but make it a monkey per annum. May stop some idiots from owning a dog?

You can't sanitise every aspect of life, people will always have dogs and kids, and people will always get run over by speeding cars etc. A high majority of dog owners doing their best is all you can hope for. I am not a dog owner.
