Beached plus sized Whale complaining about builders whistling at her so she phoned up the construction company to complain, I don't think it even crossed her mind they were being ironic.

My osteopath's decorator whistled from his ladder at a woman in Hebden Bridge. Unfortunately she was a lesbian feminist who rang the police. They honestly will turn out for this kind of thing in said town, and when the plod turned up the decorater said "are you having a f*****g laugh?". He was arrested and had to take a caution.

the right to be offended ,will shortly be a degree course, her boyfriend needs to do everyone a favour, shut the windows, turn the music up loud, take his snake belt off and give her a dam good thrashing

Saddo, he took a caution for that?? I'd fight that tooth and nail personally, absolutely absurd. I can't believe it happened. Arrested for what exactly? My eldest brother has been a policeman for over 25 years and he just said 5 minutes ago when I rang him that is an absolute croc.

What was he charged with? Whistling is not a nick as far as I'm aware..I don't believe that story for a minute.

Slippy, they took him in cos he was very put out and verbally abusive towards them. Point is, if you get burgled these days you often get nothing but a crime number, upset a woman in that town and they will attend.

I read that Nottingham plod have decided to categorise whistling at wimmin as a hate crime Crazy Surely that couldn't be more incorrect Wink

yep. because it's all about the numbers. which is why nottinghamshire plod are so keen on it.

it's a piece of piss to police, the "offenders" are soft as sh1te, and it's a nice big +1 on the monthly targets.

Appparently, with Women's (Ladies') Football these days, the ref is not allowed to whistle if a player commits a foul.

Apparently, when a foul is committed the ref has to shout (not too loudly, though) "excuse me, can we all gather round for a minute to discuss that tackle" and a brief workshop is held.  The ref then goes with the consensus.
