bbc source - not fringe - not widely reported? not on main news?

the gaia space telescope recently clocked the expansion of the universe -
revising the age of the universe from 13.88 billion years down to a few
hundred million years.

wonderful science

so the earth was meant to be 4.5 billion years old - what age is it now?
a 100 million years? how long to cool down? for life to begin... could Zorro be right?
might the speed of light be slowing down?

half a billion years old universe, if we are being generous. you plonkers.

science - your own guys - oh my.... ding dong.

You seem to have read and quoted the piece incorrectly, 'revising the age of the universe from 13.88 billion years down BY (not 'to') a few
hundred million years.'
