Glagow East MP Natalie McGarry charged with embezzlement of funds, breach of trust & breach of indyref 2013 Act

investigation was launched into claims £30,000 went missing from the accounts of the Women for Independence (WFI) group she co-founded.

Earlier this year, Ms McGarry was forced to apologise and pay £10,000 after falsely claiming pro-Union campaigner Alastair Cameron was a 'Holocaust denier'. She 'apologised unreservedly' after a legal action against her was settled out of court.

She has also apologised to JK Rowling after alleging on Twitter that the Harry Potter author defends “abusive misogynist trolls.” 

Ms McGarry's lawyer, Aamer Anwar, said: "“I can confirm that Natalie McGarry MP attended voluntarily with myself as her solicitor this morning at Govan Police Station .

Obviously innocent unless proved guilty but you got to wonder at the selection process of the SNP for their prospective MPs.
Her conduct, and that of several of her fellow MPs, on social media has been appalling with casemoney highlighting two of the worst examples.

Yet another hauled in by the police yesterday for questioning over another financial matter.

It's probably just a careless error, been overworking.

Who hasn't been so tired that they've erroneously claimed £30k expenses.  Could happen to anybody ... loads of politicians have made errors with their expenses etc, so understandable, really.

Was a great bit on twitter recently with Margaret Curran (Labour)
She was out canvasing and was getting followed and harassed.
Claimed it was the Scottish Resistance who are SNP activists.
