See if you can get your head around this, because I certainly can't. Wherever you look for a scintilla of common sense, logic and/or good judgement you won't find it.
On Tuesday night in Charlotte, NC, a 'disabled' unarmed black man was shot dead by a police officer identified as black (now said to be 'on leave'). . http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3799501/Cops-shoot-dead-disabled-man-North-Carolina-Police-claim-man-armed-gun-family-insist-unarmed-reading-book.html Last night in the same city there was a 'peaceful protest' about this awful incident. At least one of these peaceful protestors brought a gun with him. This gunman (identified as black by a black eyewitness) then shot another black protestor at this 'peaceful protest'. Some of the peaceful protestors vandalised and looted convenience stores and sportswear stores. For example, can we now expect some UK airports to be occupied once again by privileged white idiots in the 'Black Lives Matter' group, in protest about the killing of black US citizens in America by other black US citizens? And no doubt there's still time for all of this to be blamed on Donald Trump and/or other white Republicans. Is there ANY possible chance that the 'Black Lives Matter' group might accept SOME responsibility for the grotesque scenes we're witnessing Stateside? |

refuse legislation due to corporations basically having a hand in the till. see subprime is back for car loans. and dodgy mortgages are back.....3% deposit waived and you dont have to prove you can afford it if you take a class or two in finances. they have no sense of guilt for the problems they started which led tot he crisis. in a way i hope trump gets in so they have martial law all over the country. but fear thousands will be killed. |

North Carolina's governor declared a state of emergency in Charlotte late on Wednesday after a second consecutive night of violence led to 44 arrests.
Ten protesters were injured in Wednesday's unrest, including a civilian who remains in critical condition after suffering a gunshot wound, according to Chief Putney. Five officers also required medical care, including two for minor eye injuries, he added. no looting tonight shops are empty... Meanwhile, the residents of Charlotte will soon see hundreds of national guard personnel in this city, a sign that the authorities are hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. |

They have a black president.
It is 150 years since the abolition of slavery. Yet from here there seems to be a permanent civil war going on over there. This country nearly joined the American Civil war on the side of the Confederacy, because the North's blockade of the South deprived us of the raw cotton we needed for our own cotton industry. We did not because we feared losing Canada, although Glasgow got rich building blockade running ships. They took weapons and anything else the South needed in and came back with cotton. It was very profitable. |

All in All it is a pity the American whites did not pick their own cotton,
instead of using slaves, which was also morally unforgivable of course. America still appear to be paying for that decision. |
