Replaced all of their good, better quality, more filling and expensive sandwiches in their meal deal with a lorry load of really crap, low quality, cheap sandwiches, I don't eat bread but it does look like a big screw up on their part, are their in financial trouble as it looks like a cost cutting exercise, before their new meal deal, when you go into Sainsbury's after lunch and walk past the sandwich shelves, they always looked like vultures had just been let loose at them, almost bare empty shelves with only the cheap egg and cress and ham and tomatoes ones left standing that would usually get put on reduced to clear by the end of the day, now I laugh when I see them after lunch, they looked practically untouched! full shelves full of new, cheaply made sandwiches nobody wants, which would also mean less soft drinks and crisps being sold, looks like a big f*** up to me thanks to greed. https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=sainsbury%27s%20meal%20deal&src=typd

The King prawn and rocket on malted bread were worth the deal alone. I always considered the crisps and a diet Coke as freebies.

Believe it or not, Sainsburys were selling hot cross buns yesterday. I didn't buy any, I'm waiting for the chocolate eggs.

People would had been happier if they had just put the price up a little for the meal deal, always some nice sandwiches in the original deal.

Now the fools will lose shoppers who may had bought something else whilst popping in.

Why are M&S and Waitrose sandwiches so much better? I know they maybe a little more expensive but in a different league imo.

All good things come to an end and this was always a generous deal, including the Taste The Difference range that is.

But taking the baps and wraps out was an outrage, Tesco include comparable baps and wraps in their meal deal.

They should reintroduce the baps and wraps and have a TTD range meal deal at £3.49.

The shiite they've come up with is insulting.

I would have no issue going back to the old menu for 3 and half quid.
