Surely you have always been able to drag the timeline thingy backwards and forwards? I can't remember it ever not being there on the ipad version.
It was always there on mine but you couldnt move it backwards.
Its only since they changed stuff recently that mine has changed.
I recall having to say on the ipad that I had a tv license when they made an update and since then ive been able to pause it and scroll back.
I know its decades old now that technology since the Tivo but when you havnt had easy access to it then you get it back on a convenient device like a tablet its great for time management.
If all you want are the headlines you dont have to time it on the hour/half hour
