I think there is more to this story than the bits in the paper, all turning a bit nasty now.  First of all the PR company chasing the girl for £6,200 publicity fees, those fees seem very high indeed, but don't know all of it. They could be over-charging and trying to benefit from the situation.

And the girl who raised all the money for the poor guy, maybe a motive for self-benefit (?). Also don't think Alan Barnes deserves any of the abuse he's been getting online, he has many difficulties and I don't see he has done anything wrong.

I only know what I have read in the paper and from my understanding I would say the one who deserves the abuse here is that disgusting woman in the PR company charging £550 a day. She should be getting the abuse not him. But probably more to this story........

£550 a day ??!!!!! Total cost over £6,000 ! What exactly did that PR woman do for this fee, would like to see a breakdown of that cost, what was she actually paying for ?

However, the girl did make the choice to go to a PR company - for her own gain to raise her profile on the back of all the publicity she got helping Alan Barnes.
