Now I really did think they were actually the religion of peace.

55 people have been arrested following an eight-hour armed protest of a “mixed marriage” at a Sikh temple in Leamington, Warwickshire.

Busy time for the police on a sunday.

I think when I first read this that no mention was made of the fact that their religion obliges them to carry a knife.  It read that they were bloodthirsty savages.  However, now the bbc are mentioning about the religious aspect and the sikhs are saying that it was a peaceful protest.  I lived among lots of sikhs when I lived in london and found them all to be happy, reasonable people as far as you can know anyone.  I also liked the hindus.

Spot on annie. I've relatives in Glasgow and they always comment favourably on what is quite a large Sikh community near to them.

You can't be too shocked by what bito typed, surely. After all you've told us about being a bisexual gambling mad person that drinks red wine by the gallon, annie?
