10 years ago it was derby day only that concerned them and that was avoiding any potential embarressment , i dare say Spurs fans didn't look forward to the game even though most of the games were failry level pegging in the end - it was almost a non rivalry for a number of seasons . Arsenals main rivals then were Manchester United by a long mile . |

Spurs rivalry with Arsenal is pretty much one way as i see it .
Arsenal fans i know really didn't care much before this season. They finally now see Spurs as their equal, and are a little concerned that the tide may turn. it's still a big 'may' though |
