GGG will attack the body rounds 4 onwards once he works him out and the towel from kells side will fly in slow motion , could make a film about it one day

I'm a big admirer of Kell Brook, a great fighter, but struggle to comprehend why he has taken this fight.  Kudos to him, though, nobody could question his testicular fortitude.

Report kenny mann September 10, 2016 11:31 PM BST
Pure guts from Brooks stepping up 2 divisions when the likes of Eubank sidestepped.
Report GoOnThen September 10, 2016 11:32 PM BST
No shame in that defeat. Two warriors.
Report Pokermonster September 10, 2016 11:32 PM BST
Good decision there from Ingle.  It was reminding me of the Benn versus McClellan fight.

Couldn't see a welter dealing with this fella, he's been knocking phuck outta middleweights for years..

I'd call it stoopidity instead of guts..

You're wrong. He impressed a lot of people including the ones that matter.

He'll move up ONE division and is guaranteed a lot of good pay days in the future, thanks to Ingle throwing the towel in, a very good decision.

Who knows what would have happened if he hadn't made it into a brawl.
Report guinness2dear September 11, 2016 12:24 AM BST
No, you're wrong! He's an idiot for going in with him.

The ones that matter? Ye mean the industry? Like phuck, they all knew, and i mean ALL that he would get battered, but he wouldn't listen. Why do ye think the towel came in?
Report TheChaser September 11, 2016 12:37 AM BST
He done it for money and knew he had no chance

If he wanted to be great he would have cleaned his division out and if he was avoided as much as he said he was. Then he could have went to 154 and tried to clean that out as he always says he is a big welter so move up a division and not 2 would have been realistic.
Report TheChaser September 11, 2016 12:38 AM BST
But they scammed the fans and make it a 50/50 sort of fight and made out GGG was sick , when all along GGG knew this guy is way too small and i could end it in one.
Report guinness2dear September 11, 2016 12:54 AM BST

It was Brook's first defeat in his 37th professional fight, while the undefeated Golovkin now has 33 knockouts from 36 fights, including 23 in a row.

He was taken to hospital as a precaution after revealing he suffered a broken eye socket in the second round and had blurred vision.

"I was frustrating him. I was starting to settle into it but when you see three, four, five of them it's difficult," he said.

Golovkin backed Ingle's decision, saying: "I think he's smart, I respect his corner. Seriously, the last round he couldn't breathe or move."
