I watched some documentary yesterday about an NHS manager, only seen ten minutes before I gave up on it. But the manager was over weight, the two nurses she was with was very over weight.
My own GP is over weight? A lot of the NHS staff is over weight.

So isn't it a bit rich that they are talking about not administering care to fat folk?

You are right, that is a bit of a cheek Zorro.

But if people are excessively fat the NHS spend a fortune giving these people stomach reduction surgeryShocked.
Why don't they just let them die, I would.

I am overweight myself, but I accept it is my own responsibilityBlush, all it requires to lose it is a bit of dieting and exercise.
But I would never demand stomach reduction surgery!

Nor should they. Fat people are a blight on the Nation. No excuse for it - just greed and sloth. Further, people who allow their children to become obese should be jailed. And they are unsightly, I shouldn't have to walk around looking at hideously fat people waddling about struggling for breath carrying multipacks of Monster Munch.

I hate skinny skeletons that look like drug addicts myself.
Looks like you could snap them in two.

Ban refined sugars, wheat and soy - everyone would be fit and half the hospitals would close down. coz their customers wouldn't need it.

instead they're bottling water? adding estrogen to it.
opening starbucks in every town - dosing you with caffeine.
pizza shops selling you a high carb poisoning solution.

one fruit and veg shop in a plaza is not going to feed everyone.

If you put all of them in the same boat, the fat bar stewards would sink it and everyone would drown. Problem solved. Feel free to charge the forum 10 guineas breadnbutter.

If you do and you are truly disabled, my humblest apologies. If you do and you're just far too fat, try getting off it and walking.

fk cheek - I walk two miles three days a week. I swim one mile in the pool  twice a week - takes me forty five minutes. I'm fifty and 16 stone. I was over twenty stone two years ago. I'll be 14 stone in another year guaranteed. I eat like FKin Audrey Hepburn now. Every food I eat has a purpose. nutrition.

I am 6' and 16 stone 3.

Using the NHS BMI thing, I go beyond the Overweight category and am, Obese.

I feel I need to get to 15 stone, and have just started on the 5:2 diet plus more regular exercise and cutting down on bread.

5:2 diet realistically cuts out alcohol on 2 days which is something else I wanted to do.

But I am fairly fit.  Just got back from walking on South West Coastal path, which was brilliant.

I have no doubt I will hit 15 stone, at which point I will decide if I want to lose more.

Its all about determination and willpower.

I have little sympathy for anyone that gets to 20 stone plus.  It is not a coincidence that you see fat people eating snacks and junk food all the time.

I run between 4-5 miles each day and can drink as often as I like without putting any weight on.

NHS don't want to treat oldies, fatties, smokers or drinkers.

Soon the only people eligible for treatment will be those who don't need any and the powers that be will claim to have eliminated all the waiting lists Devil

That is not the messages that have been put out until now, elder.

The NHS will treat all equally - regardless of how much some patients abuse their bodies and expect someone else to look after them and pick up the tab.

The weight the NHS would like me to be, for my height, is 9 stone 10 to 13 stone 3.

On a serious note, I live in Essex, small town on the coast, fat people everywhere. My little girl goes to school in Hamsptead, her school is not attended by one fat child.

If you weigh between 16 stone 13Lb and 22 stone 11Lb, then you may not be overweight.
You may be too short. The correct height for this weight range is 7 feet 11 inches.
Perhaps the rack may help?

When they talk about not treating smokers and drinkers I am totally against it, we pay so much tax to pay for the NHS. Fat bar stewards are another matter and until they start taxing sh1te food I think we shouldnt treat them until they get off their sweaty behinds and some exercise.
