What they did was pure evil and I'm not religious but no western punishment would suffice.

the biggest travesty of justice going on at the moment in the UK is this

that inhuman piece of sh!t called lucas bellfield who raped and murdered millie dowler

converted to islam when in jail

and the fkin do gooders let it happen

in my eyes they are worse than him

if adolf hitler was alive he wouldnt be jailed due to his diminshed responsibilty

the whole aystem is corrupt as fck

and some fckers are rich because of it

Long term prisoners should only get basic rights, ie bed, clothing, food and exercise.
Things like tvs, reading materials and visits should have to be earned by good behaviour.
Anything else should be a no go area.

Capital punishment is the answer and not to be squeamish about it.  I think it's appropriate for most murderers, why waste money on keeping them alive?

Why only most murderers? Why would some murderers not qualify? Pokermonster sir

A civilised nation does not execute its citizens. And that really is the only argument that needs making.

Crags.

I would contend that some murders have extenuating circumstances, sir.  The killing of a paedophile by a victim's father, an abusive husband by his wife, etc.

You would excuse the same rage that you assuage in yourself by holding executions.

I am a very vengeful person.  If anyone murdered a member of my family I would want that person dead.  Given the slightest opportunity I would, without doubt, kill them myself.

That is why I must be in favour of the death penalty, it would be hypocritical of me otherwise.

In the same circumstances, I would be exactly the same as you. That does not mean however that I wouldn't know that I became them as they died. And that I had committed the same act as them.

What if it was only a second cousin twice removed? Would you just beat them up, or still kill them?

There have been miscarriages of justice before and that's a good reason not to bring back the death penalty, for me.

We've killed thousands of innocents in recent wars (without trial). Why can't we kill UK filth who are guilty of murder?

Every Western country should eliminate - preferably by beheading as they seem to like it so much. Every single terrorist found guilty of murder or conspiracy to murder.

Tell that to the 8.2 million babies aborted/executed in UK since 1967.

I buried my father recently TGV. We asked that all donations and money that would otherwise have been spent on flowers be sent to SPUC. I am wearing my little two feet badge even as we speak.

this is turning into a  random chit chat rant

1- Thread should read Suspected Bataclan Bastards arrested should it not ?

2- all this anti abortion tripe is driven by the roman catholic church ,invented to keep numbers up , its a stain on humanity ,killed far more than its saved and forced millions to be  born into abject poverty ,famine and imminent  death.
Its a completely separate debate ,its about control and power and the decision  must always be with the individual mother and not the state or church .

3-sorry to hear of your fathers loss JD

5-Death penalty should be up to the people ,lets have a vote ,the gov and its cronies keep telling us the people dont want it but all the evidence and polls say the complete opposite ,a civilized society should be able to decide where to draw the line and what may/should/could/must  in its eyes constitute the death penalty.

I`ve never seen executing some as extreme. If you rape and murder a young girl then you hang, feckin simple.

That is civilised, you are putting a beast asleep, very kind I think.

   -  No !  Unless there is 100% certainty that the offender committed a terrible crime (where to draw the line though ?)
