double click clock at bottom right and put in time - if it keeps happening the cmos battery might be getting weak. costs £3 in Maplin. Don't junk your computer. Backup everything essential if it keeps losing time. it's a small round/flat battery about the size of a penny. silver. on the motherboard. **** design of computers - woulda thought they'd build something better. If you leave your computer plugged in, it might revive a little.
