Planning a trip to New York for a few days and as seen as i've never been to Canada was thinking about flying up and spending a few days in one of the Canadian cities in the east before flying back to the Uk. Any recommendations from Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa or Quebec?  I know very little about each apart from Ottawa which is a very small capital city.
TIA :D

100% Montreal.

S*xiest city in North Amerira.  The snow melts, the girls shed their clothes, the jazz kicks in, it's a groovy place.  A somewhat delapitated failed port city it has charm and culture in abundance.  An open emancipated city, the strip bar scene etc is world class.

Time of the year, will affect your choice....but at any time of the year Montreal still wins.

Ottawa is a sleepy non-starter.

Quebec city is small and not without charm, particularly in mid-winter.

Toronto has the feel of another North American city, you might as well just stay in New York.

My choice, Toronto. But you need to think if it's worth the hassle if only going for a few days.

Staying at KJP's bachelor pad Rondo?  Wall-to-wall air hostesses I heard.

Kindest regards as ever.
