The Jeremy Thorpe/ Norman Scott case had some funny references during the trial regarding 'biting the pillow' and a letter from Thorpe to Scott(who he'd nicknamed Bunny) that said, Bunnies can and will go to France. Outrageous at the time.

There was the Profumo Affair, Secretary of State for War was involved with shady Stephen Ward and prostitutes Christine Keeler and Mandy Rice-Davies. Defence Q.C. asked Mandy, " Lord Astor has denied sleeping with you" to which she replied, " well, he would say that, wouldn't he". Classic.
