In a tin of peas there is loads of water enough to cover the peas in a pan
but a tin of sweetcorn there is hardly any and in the pan it barely covers
any of the sweetcorn?Laugh

Maybe sweetcorns don't pee as much as peas pee?

It is not such a silly question.

I have often wondered the same myself.

Probably to do with preserving the outer texture of the pea and the texture of the corn...corn is tougher.

I think it's because peas are round which makes more space for the water to get in-between them in the tin, where as  sweetcorn are more cube shaped and fit together better thus not so much space for the water.
