In a tin of peas there is loads of water enough to cover the peas in a pan but a tin of sweetcorn there is hardly any and in the pan it barely covers any of the sweetcorn?
I think it's because peas are round which makes more space for the water to get in-between them in the tin, where as sweetcorn are more cube shaped and fit together better thus not so much space for the water.
