Ovalman - Science can ask the questions, religion cannot.
Science cannot prove if God exists or not... If jesus returns the question is answered. |

Anyone who says there is no God has'ent looked for him.
just like the guy who walks round a strangers house and says"there's no can opener in this house" and he believes it until his mate walks in and takes it out of the drawer. Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door shall be open for you."now where did I hear them words before" |

Science cannot prove that any non existent being exists.
My Spirit live beyond Saturn, I have proof for it but the proof is in my brain - prove that. I've said before, if there is a sentient being then he's a very benign being so why worry about him or worship him? |

The skeptic asks, "If God created the universe, then who created God?" This is an illogical question. If God is the uncreated creator of the universe,
He is the creator of time. He is not limited by the time dimension he created, so he has no beginning in time. Therefore, he does not have, or need to have,a cause. saved this quote - can't remember who made it? |

Perhaps I'm old and tired, but I think that the chances of finding out what's actually going on are so absurdly remote that the only thing to do is to say, "Hang the sense of it," and keep yourself busy. I'd much rather be happy than right any day.

The God Christians worship was created by the Jews sometime before 1000 BC. Gods were tribal and Jehovah was the tribal God of the Jews as Baal, seen in the Old Testament was the God of the neighbouring Caananites. Jesus probably existed but he was preaching to the Jews. It was Saul of Tarsus now known as St Paul who decided that Christianity should attempt to be more than a Jewish sect.
zorro tbf makes some decent points but they are arguments in favour of Deism not specifically Christianity. |

Zorro has said he worships Jesus so is by definition a Christian. He has also said he is against organised religion which is a concept he also claims came from Jesus.

I am a creation, my creator is God the father, the Son and the Holy spirit. I talk to God because he is my father and I am one of his sons. This is laid out in the Bible. Call no man father as your father is in heaven. I don't sit like the Muslims and kiss the carpet. If that is worship? I accept all of creation as his work, both good and bad. He calls this a fallen world, corrupted by Satan and Adam. He has set out his plan of redemption. To reconcile man. I am not a fan of religions, this is Satan's game. A shell game. I only talk to my father. there are no ceremonies. no middle men. I am the priest. (St Paul)
death is a curse that atheists have accepted into their lives, but even atheists do not die, the spirit is forever. the real death is never to know God your Father. Jesus came to save the sinners, not the righteous. By saying i am not a sinner, I am my own creation, God does not exist... you harm only yourself. PRIDE. Satan's fall was caused by pride. Repeatable and always the best sin. |

Dimensions - Scientists believe we are in 12 dimensions. But we experience only four of them. we see a tiny amount of the light spectrum. But our ballz are so very big. |

it's an old one - pluck the fruit (eve) - seize the day - just do it.
'Carpe diem' is usually translated from the Latin as 'seize the day'. However, the more pedantic of Latin scholars may very well seize you by the throat if you suggest that translation. 'Carpe' translates literally as 'pluck', with particular reference to the picking of fruit, so a more accurate rendition is 'enjoy the day, pluck the day when it is ripe'. The extended version of the phrase 'carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero' translates as 'pluck the day, trusting as little as possible in the future'. author - Satan hahahahahhahahaha |

Pantheism..I have learnt my new word for the day, ta for that Zorro
![]() Carpe Diem...seize the day...you are spoiling me Zorro, seems slightly confused meaning to me In Horace, the phrase is part of the longer carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero, which can be translated as "Seize the day, put very little trust in tomorrow (the future)". The ode says that the future is unforeseen and that one should not leave to chance future happenings, but rather one should do all one can today to make one's future better. In the 1989 movie Dead Poets Society, the English teacher John Keating, played by Robin Williams, famously says: "Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary." Seems a more chancy version of it, take a risk, anything is possible |

Pantheism also has two meaning
a doctrine which identifies God with the universe, or regards the universe as a manifestation of God. or the worship or tolerance of many gods. Deism | Define Deism at Dictionary.com deism..from Salmon spray The belief that God has created the universe but remains apart from it and permits his creation to administer itself through natural laws. Deism thus rejects the supernatural aspects of religion, such as belief in revelation in the Bible, and stresses the importance of ethical conduct. I totally agree with, ta for that Salmon ![]() ![]() |

“Let each of us examine his thoughts; he will find them wholly concerned with the past or the future. We almost never think of the present, and if we do think of it, it is only to see what light is throws on our plans for the future. The present is never our end. The past and the present are our means, the future alone our end. Thus we never actually live, but hope to live, and since we are always planning how to be happy, it is inevitable that we should never be so.”

no such thing as a virtue if there is no judge of that virtue. you live, you die and return to the soil. The earth gets hit by a meteor. and the dolphins evolve into the new Humans. All human virtues are a fantasy dreamt up by king Dolphanus the first. raise your fin to the great king... Dolphanus the first. |

So if I present you with some long haired scruff and say to you 'here ovalman, is proof that barbers do not exist, or at least if they do, they are most benign', what are you going to say? You say, 'but fkqmz, this man's existance does not mean that barbers do not exist, it just means he needs to go and find one' similarly, God appears to be benign in your life because not because he doesn't exist, but because you don't go to him. I go to him, he is very much not benign in my life. how about you zorro? the fact that God is benign in your life says nothing about him and everything about you. |

sentient? benign - that sounds like buddhist clap trap -
my God is the God of the bible. my God incarnated as a man. He has a personality. He has values. Isaiah says he is hiding his face, but only till we all decide by 'free choice' if we want him or not. seek and ye shall find. The Sanhedrin is reassembled, the have a high priest to make a Barley sacrifice in September, Yom Kippur. http://www.breakingisraelnews.com/72147/unesco-temple-mount-vote-cause-global-terror-says-sanhedrin/#ZIcHWicpJbmA3qpz.97 Jesus will return to destroy all evil - that's not benign. |
