I read all his books which are excellent, apart from The Painted House, in which he went on some strange new direction.

The only John Grisham book I have read is A Painted House. I really enjoyed it.

I recently downloaded A Tumor - A Non Legal Thriller onto my Kindle. Have yet to read it.

It is called The Tumor, sorry, and it was free.

The Pelican Brief was a better book than film imo, if you like the whodunnit (or whydunnit) aspect. Used to love Grisham but I've not read any for about a decade. They became slightly formulaic: the same basic plot in a different situation.

books in general are always better than the film imvho

I've enjoyed his film adaptions. The only book of his that I've read was The Broker, I was disappointed with that.
